  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.

So my old old computer is going in the same direction as my last three cats and I'm thinking of getting a gaming laptop.
 
Better off getting a gaming tower as you can upgrade and replace parts easier.
 
for gaming laptop recs i suggest asking on the suggestalaptop discord (7-day invite: https://discord.gg/x9gjPMGa) or subreddit (although the discord members don't like the subreddit). usual caveats to gaming laptops apply... Jarrod's Tech on Youtube (https://youtube.com/@JarrodsTech) does good reviews, last I checked. Probably want to double check in case he became a sellout, and gaming laptop reviewers have preferences that may not align with yours
