Heya everyone, I might need your help tonight!

This friday night, I am running a one-shot of Eclipse Phase. It will be my first try in this tabletop game (new system, new universe), and I am quite a bit anxious, because I have high expectations of myself for this one. It will be my first time running a SF game and first time running a horror game.

For the record, I am going to do Continuity, with 4, 5, maybe 6 players.

I use to have a soundtrack to my game. Some music from a RPG when running a fantasy game, etc... I am currently choosing the playlist for this game, and I am quite unsure about what I should use.

For now, I am using a selection from those sources:
Mass Effect
Hate Pair
Blade Runner
Metroid
Bioshock

So, do any of you have some tips for me ?

In the meantime, what is your opinion on the use of a playlist during a tabletop game ?

I don't really have a playlist so much as a leitmotif for a character. Exalted goes well with the Mists of Pandaria soundtrack though.

Let me think, sci-fi and horror.... really really not my usual thing, TBH, but have you considered Fallout New Vegas?

Never played it, I can dl the soundtrack, listen and see, I think ?

Yes, it might do the trick... for Mars' surface or something, sadly not for a space station like in Continuity. Too much sound of weather.

But you are right, it's quite good.
