If a thread gets necro'd by someone else is it alright for other people (those who didn't necro the thread) to continue chatting into it as if it's a normal thread? Or should it be treated as a locked thread? I notice it's usually left open even when necro'd so that (I presume) the OP can reply if they want to.

Most of the time, the extra posts is just to shout at the necro. We would rather it be left to rest.

If it keep going for no good reason, or it's necroed a second time, then that is when I tend to lock.
