RWBY Gamer Quest

A new quest, with far simpler mechanics so that it doesn't take me too much time to write a chapter. Since we don't have a clear goal, we'll see where the votes take us.
I'll try to update once a week, but I have several days off from work so the start will go a bit faster depending on intrest.

A few things to know about this quest:
- The MC does not know about RWBY or what brought him/her to this world.
- The gamer mechanics are all made into perks, so votes will decide on what game mechanics are included and which aren't
- One game feature that won't be shown are levels for individual skills or stats.
- Combat will be narrative, not based on dice. That said, combat perks will be needed for effective combat. More combat-focused perks means more effective fights, the perks themselves will matter less.
- There will be plenty of no combat-focused choices/perks to progress the story in whatever direction it happens to go.
- Canon characters will eventually show up, but far later in the story.
- Ideas for classes (a way to limit the number of perks I have to think of) are very welcome.
- Perk ideas are also very welcome.



Quest start

Your head was killing you as she slowly awoke to the sound of birds and the sun warming your face. "What?" you groan as you blink your eyes before panic-induced adrenaline causes your heart to pound, all sleepiness lost within a second.

You weren't in your bedroom, or any room for that matter, instead you woke up under a tree. You scramble to your feet, hastily taking stock of your surroundings. All around you were tall imposing broadleaf trees with thick undergrowths, something that did little to calm you as the only forests close to home were made up of pine trees.

You reach for your phone, as some asshole had clearly drugged you and dumped you here for some reason, but your pockets are empty. No phone, no wallet or keys. Almost hysterically you search the leave-covered ground, hoping that your phone might have simply slipped from your pocket as you slept but deep down you know it's a wasted effort.

After searching the small clearing you found nothing, no phone and no trail or tracks that you could follow. "Fuck," you swear under your breath as you desperately try to remember those survival shows you liked to watch when you were younger. What are you supposed to do when you don't even fucking know where you are?!
