Back to Minecraft Jaune. I'm thinking of someone trying (and failing) to steal Jaune's powers somehow or replicate the Semblance? Of course. I can see the Aura transfer machine being tempting for some people. Strap Jaune in and themselves (or a loyal lackey) on the other end

Maybe Ironwood, after realizing Jaune won't be doggedly loyal, immediately considers this as a backup plan. To his credit, it's likely he doesn't actually do it, but he does still plan for the idea of someone more loyal like Winter or Harriet having the abilities instead of some kid from the countryside.

Depends if the Minecraft stuff runs on No Ontological Inertia where everything just crumbled once Jaune dies. It could be they still function, they just can't be repaired.

Also, I'm considering a plot point that maybe the Semblance is hereditary like the Schnees. THAT would cause a whole load of uproar and plans.
 
1. I guess Blake will try the forbidden technique double cat ears or something as in putting on a cat ears headband or cosplay as the *drum roll* Ninja of love.

Weiss would try to win over the populace with promises of Atlas contracts or trying
to increase her rep with the villagers.

Yang will try to horsework around the village with manual labor or beating off some grimm stragglers.

2. Jaune can always brew some potions to get cat ears or something to let the more tame white fang house clean their more radical members. What can the more radical WF faction do? They can't exactly start a conflict because of pride against their own members towards an individual that is willing to help them out of goodwill.

1. Huh. Weiss appealing to the villagers is new, and plays into her role as the raised businesswoman. Yang won't have much luck since we've shown the village doesn't need help with labor and grimm.

2. Uh…yeah they can. Adam killed Sienna and her personal bodyguards let it happen. Ghira's assembled Faunus fought the militant WF in Haven. White Fang are perfectly willing to kill other Faunus, especially those who they see as cozying up to or begging a human for help. Note that even Sienna considered Hazel, a Human's, presence in her throne room as an affront and threatened to kill both him and Adam both for it.

Could be an assumption everyine has but isn't true. Same with Ironwood guessing/hoping the Semblance can be transferred eith the Aura Transfer Machine. No actual proof, just hopes
 
Something for Minecraft Jaune. The commissioner suggested the idea that Ironwood creates a base near Domremy. The stated reason is to protect Jaune, but obviously they're there to spy on him.

One issue: the Vale council. We know that the idea is they have no control of anything outside their walls and allied settlements, so does that mean Atlas can just build a base there? It's not their continent, but technically the Valean council has no control of Saunus as a whole. That's not even assuming loopholes like 'Atlas citizens' just so happening to mass migrate over to Saunus and build a village discreetly funded by Ironwood…
 
Or Vale tries to annex Domremy with the express intent to "help" them manage such a rapidly growing settlement for "the good of the people".

Ozpin tries that. He invites Jaune to Vale then basically tries to annex Domremy. He tells Jaune that Vale will take Domremy 'under its wing' and in exchange Jaune only has to do a few favors. Basically tries to frame it as a good thing and a benefit to the city.

Jaune calls Ozpin out for trying to take his city without doing anything to help build it immediately tries to leave. Ozpin has to scramble to salvage the situation since he assumed Jaune would be a country boy he could easily manipulate like he's used to. Jaune is a boy from the country, but he's also a high level Minecraft player. And one thing you do DO NOT DO is try to take their stuff. They get PISSED when people do that.
 
We are assuming Jaune is running in hardcore mode and won't just pop back into existence if he dies. Also, physically, Jaune's Minecraft-iness isn't affecting the world too bad, what with converting materials into crafted items, else a full set of golden armor would be 113,500 lbs.

We have ni idea. Jaune hasn't died yet and titemsmof the undying are a thing. Also, his kingdom is definitely a self sufficient Arcadia that can survive jhst about anything. That's pretty unique on Remnant and affects the eorld when they find out.

At least Jaune doesn't have the same dimensions as Steve. He'd have a hand span of 18 inches, be 6'6" and weigh about 750-ish lbs when naked. Dude would be built like a shaved bear.
