How do you only search for newly created posts in one timeframe?
I tried applying newer than, but it counts replies to a thread as part of that.
I tried limiting word count to 4000-20000 to see only new low word count stories, but it also show 300k+ stories that just got 4k chapter update.

Sorting by word count does nothing when applying either of these as it sorts by last chapter's word lenght and I have 300k story next to 10k one. Sorting by most recent has the same problem.

Tried "search everything" and search "threads and posts"

How to specify I want to look at thread creation time and total wordcount of threadmarks (not just per chapter word count)?

How do you find new stories in this site?
 
In the forum of your choice, at the bottom of the thread listing, there should be a link labeled "Thread Display Options". Click that, and it should show a bunch of dropdowns and text boxes ('Sort threads by', 'Order threads in', 'Prefix', 'Word count'). Change the 'Sort threads by' dropdown to 'Thread creation time', and the 'Order threads in' dropdown to 'Descending order'. Then click on the 'Set Options' button. This will reorder the thread listing so that the newest created threads are shown first.
