For the uninformed this is a mobage developed by CyGames and is fairly similar to Hearthstone in terms of the basics, except with less RNG, expansions and more waifus. And evolution of course but that's kind of too complicated to really explain succinctly. In any case if you start playing now you'll get a free Gabriel and Prince of Darkness (which are all legendaries) and a bunch of other packs, so I suppose it's quite newbie friendly. Rerolling the free packs for legendaries is something one could do as well but I don't really see the point in that to be honest.

Also there's an upcoming expansion titled Darkness Evolved, focusing on the evolve mechanic coming up soon.

The expansion has come out and with it a major shakeup of the meta. The game is also really generous to new players, so this is a decent time to start playing, though you won't have the legendaries mentioned above.

At this time it's only for iOS and Android, though emulators can run it fairly well. A PC Steam release is in the works, but no idea on how long before it's released.
 
Well, it seems interesting. Though I'll have to wait for the steam release.
 
Steam release is out and has been for a few days now! At the moment there's around 4030~? free packs for anyone who signs up, and there may be even more just in a few days due to a twitter event. The Steam version also supports modern pc resolutions and also 60 fps, though you'll have to turn on that setting in the settings menu.

I should have probably started watching this thread after saying I'm interested.

Anyway, recently started playing, seems like a nice game so far.
