Okay, so I have decided to run my snippet thread here. I may make one for lewds later, but for now, this is where they are going. So recently the Sonic Fandom is ramping up, I started reading IDW and I, myself, am getting an itch to write. Thus I am currently working on a fic idea. It will take place in Sonic X. It will involve an OC, because as much as I love that hedgehog, I am a bigger fan of the universe than just the character. So it will probably slide more towards the IDW/AU area than others. I will not list further plans because I actually want to reach that point first and not get hopes up. Chaper ???: Time Phasestop Phenomenon? Narrator: Chris I was nervous. It was hard not to be when something so big was going on. All the odd incidents around the world being attributed to the merger of the two worlds. Of Earth and Mobius. The idea the once merged they would be locked in stasis forever. It was a scary thought. At first the idea didn't sound so bad but, we had no idea if it would stop at just keeping the day the same. We had no idea if it wouldn't just start looping back on itself. The new world would essentially be cut off from the rest of the universe, forever. "Chris." The voice made me turn and I saw pockets standing there, with an oddly serious face. "What is it Pockets?" "Chris, if you could save both Earth and Mobius... Would you?" The question hurt, I will admit. I had done my best to help every chance I could without getting in the way. "Of course I would! Why would you-" I was cut off as Pockets was suddenly in front of me, a finger pressed to my chin holding my mouth closed. "Chris." The tone was stern. Not yelling, not mocking, but unyielding. "If you could save both worlds, but there was a price. A price that could range from not seeing Earth again, your family again, but it could save everyone. Would you pay it?" That... I had to step back and think. My family... I loved them. Things had even gotten better, but it was because of my new friends that they had improved. I... Memories of the other times the world has been in danger. Where I was able to help even a little bit against something that could have killed me if even one thing had gone wrong. Of the darker possibilities of this possible time stop... "Yes." A single word. But the stern look in pockets eyes relaxed. "Take my hand." I reach out and placed my hand in his, and the small squirrel Mobian tugged me through one of the large golden ring portals he was able to conjure. We arrive at the bas of a familiar shrine. The grey of the stone steps leading up to the glowing green gem known as the Master Emerald. Standing next to it was Knuckles and Shadow. Pockets began walking up the steps and I followed. "Okay kid, talk to me, what is your plan here?" Knuckles demanded. I was hopping for that answer as well. "I... I have been treating my abilities like magic this whole time. Because that was the easiest way to wrap my head around them. Chaos energy, it responds to the user. It does not have set rules of what you can and can't do, just what the user is able to do and able to make it do." Pockets explained while reaching out for the bag shadow was holding. From the bag came the seven Chaos Emeralds, each one being set in the air as if there was a display stand just for them. Though, a bit more worrying were the three knives that were added to the floating roster. "As such we, and by that I mean Myself, Chris, and Shadow are going to preform a ritual. Rituals are... Finicky. They let you pull off large works because they have a clearly defined set of rules and goals. This ritual will involve use connecting to the seven emeralds, and the Master Emerald, through the act of contagion. Which means we must put a drop of our blood on each of them. From there I am going to lead us through the rest, where we use the power to return the two worlds to how they should be." That, was a little scary. I... I felt the emeralds powers before. The energy going through me. But I don't think I could do anything with them. Not like Sonic or Shadow. "Rituals usually have a price." Shadow was the one to make the comment. Pocket's gave a nod. "For this, I don't know what the price will be. But I suspect everyone participating at minimum is going to end up on Mobius. I... Don't think we will be able to go back to Earth. At least, we won't know until we test it. Given that this is meant to separate and strengthen to Barrier between the worlds..." Chris understood now, why he was asking those question like that. This was a one way trip. But... He looked at them, meeting each of there eyes, then reached for a knife. "Let's do it." [end snippet] As you can see from the Narration tag the POV will not always be from my Character. It will be from who I feel has the best view of the events in said chapter, which depends on what the chapter will be about and not the events in any one episode of Sonic X.

What is PSA short for? Pockets' Sonic Adventure. Effectively the first arc or book of my story. So who is Pockets? Pockets is a squirrel Mobian who is rather young. He is seven years old and is trying to figure out how to control the energy in his body. While a few mobians have found different ways to control Chaos Energy, Pockets view is more like magic from the stories. As such is is constantly trying to come up with spells. The first sucessful spell he ever cast was opening a portal.

As such Pockets is going to be building up as a wizard. Not Harry Potter Wizard, more of the traditional story book wizard. Eventually he will make a staff. Eventually his cloths will change. But the below images are Pockets at the start of this story.

Damn, had to go to Image Chest to get those posted. Yeah, so as you see in the top left corner this is done with Mobians.ai, and this is roughly what Pockets looks like.
