Suggestion to make the new profile header less cringe

I fully agree with having select settings and actions be locked away until someone has made an approved post, but having the profile header for all new accounts be exceedingly cringe is simply off-putting for no reason. I feel like there has to have been some people who would have been lurkers on the site (or potentially even future engaged participants) who saw their cringe starter header, couldn't be bothered to figure out how to change it since it isn't immediately obvious in the settings page, and decided that this community was too cringe for them and left without even giving it a second glance. It currently feels unnecessarily hostile towards newcomers in my opinion, and this is my petition to try to change this situation and make it a more welcoming place for future potential members. I think the header changing to "Your first time is always over so quickly, isn't it?" after the first approved post is cringe too and should be changed as well in my opinion. It just seems like the goal is to drive people away from the website rather than welcome them. Why not have it be something like "Congrats on your first post! Custom title is now unlocked in your Account Details. We hope to see you around!"

Is it? It's just some lighthearted humor. Plus the titles are visible to everyone, so to have them address the individual would be odd.
If someone really dislikes the default, the first search result for asking about how to change your title has a mod answer the question

Well, I go by the "Could I make this joke/comment to my bus driver?" metric of determining cringe-ness. I guess maybe it's dumb to use that metric for an internet forum, but there's no shot I would make virginity and 'first-time' jokes to a stranger I've just met. Obviously the header's a joke, I could tell that much easily enough, but it still feels unnecessarily hostile towards newcomers imo. That's why I made it a poll to see what people think about it. If people don't think it's an issue, guess I'm alone in this opinion then, no biggy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
