You couldn't decide on a proper course of action, the situation was simply too uncertain on both ends. Not to mention, you had other people to worry about here. At the very least, you needed to check in with the others for the plan and what to do right now.
You turn to Rider and decide to get her insight on what to do here, "So, I'm still kinda reeling from that ass-kicking; but I can still fight and it looks like our 'friend' who sent us a gift got one of his own. You think we should take him now or retreat?"
She takes a moment to think and then says, "Retreat; I'm low on prana from using my Noble Phantasm, and I don't think you're as in good form as you think. In case you haven't noticed, you're wobbling and look like you're about to pass out from blood loss at any moment."
...Well, now that she mentions it; you were wondering why everything was still shaking around a bit, you just assumed you were reeling from the explosion, "All right, guess we're leaving then; we can fight them next time."
Bazett chimes into the conversation at this point, "That attack...it was probably Archer's Noble Phantasm. If we wait for him to attack again I can counter it. I just need to-"
"No," you interrupt her before she can finish, "You're barely better off than I am right now; and I promised Lancer you'd be safe. I'm not going back on my word right after I gave it."
She tries to move over to where you're at; probably to retort and prove that she's fine, but then she's wracked in pain and nearly collapses, if it weren't for Shirou rushing over and catching her in time.
"Right, that settles it. I'm gonna try and teleport us all to Shirou's home; everyone, hold hands." You all clasp hands in a circle, and you activate your boots. You've never actually used them with this many carry-ons; but it should work...
There an immediate flash of light and shift in your environment; and you all crash into Shirou's tool shed. Damn, apparently too many people makes the spell finicky. And it didn't do your battered and bruised body any favors; you're barely...remaining...consciousness...
Groggily, you open your eyes and begin to wake up. As you see light and begin to rub the blur out of your eyes, you see Rider right at your bedside; hovering over you with a blindfold to replace that eye-mask thing she had before. You begin to sit up; stretching and rolling the kinks out of your body.
Then, you turn to Rider and ask her, "How long was I out?"
"Only for half of the day, it's only a little after noon," she then asks, "Are you alright?"
"Never better; probably should cast some extra healing spells just to be sure, but the worst of it seems to have passed," then, in a pique of impishness; you rip the blindfold right off of her face, "And didn't I say it was a shame to hide such lovely eyes? You don't have to worry about them doing anything to me anytime soon."
She still averts her eyes from you and says, "They were still affecting your Master though, and the woman we just saved. So for their sake I had to put it on; at the very least so I can damper the worst of it. With the Noble Phantasm to cover them broken though, I'm afraid I can't do any more than that."
"Ah, no worries; I can fix that no problem, just gimme the thing and I'll have it fixed by the hour. Still, the woman and the kid aren't nearby by the looks of it, so why wear them in here?"
"I...I-it was...." Flustered, she takes a moment to center herself, "...You were the first person to ever say that."
"What, that you eyes were beautiful?" That's a shocker, dangerous though they may be, they still looked great, "To this day I have never met a beautiful women who didn't have eyes to match; and you're are no exception. If anything, the fact that they're more exotic makes them more...enticing."
Rider scoffs, "Even with how dangerous they are? One glare and you're nothing but stone."
"Heh, the danger just makes them all the more alluring. Besides, what's life without a little risk?"
Rider then smirks, "You know, flattery will get you nowhere. And I think you live through life with enough risk; if yesterday was anything to go by."
Ah, banter; how you missed it so, "You could say that danger was always a calling in my life; no matter how hard I tried, I could never put adventuring behind me. The thrill of fulfilling quest, fighting evil, and engraving your exploits into legend; even with the risks, I loved every second of it to the very end. Also, it's not flattery if it's true." You finish off with a roguish smirk, and a charming look in you eye.
Rider just laughs, "Ha! Of course you would, I shouldn't have expected any different from a man like you. Still," she looks you right in the eye, "Why did you save me; and force your Master to use a Command Seal no less?"
You shrug, "What can I say, I couldn't leave a lovely lady in danger; and what skill and power I had wasn't enough. So I got my Master to pitch in so I could. If I had to do it again I'd do it in a heartbeat, that's just the kind of man I am."
Rider smiles softly and says, "Thanks, though I probably could have saved myself you know."
"Yes, you're probably right; but a man like me has standards. And those standards say that when a gorgeous woman's in danger, you need to jump in and save them; it's just common courtesy. And as far as looks go, well; gorgeous doesn't do you justice. Perfection is more like it really."
"Heh, I know how beautiful I look, but perfection? My sisters and many others would like to disagree with you."
Looks like someone has sister issues, "Oh? What; are they even more statuesque, buxom, and sultry as you are? With even more exotic and alluring eyes?"
"The opposite actually, I was the mortal one with the gaze that can kill; the source of all their jeering and mockery because of it."
You think you can see where this went, "Ahh, the love of a brother or sister; the kind of mocking, jeering, and insulting love that makes you wanna strangle them. But despite all the insults and abuse, there's no real malice or ill-will in it all. Maybe some jealously, but never outright scorn or hatred. Well, that's what all the people I know who had brothers and sisters told me. Is it true?"
With a wistful smile on her face, Rider says, "Yes, that's exactly how it was; the belittled and insulted me; but in the end they looked out for me when I needed it most." Then she frowns, "I...never got to thank them for that, or actually tell them how I felt really."
Well that got rather depressing fast, "Ah, I'm sorry for bringing up bad memories," yeah, smooth move; making her remember family who's kicked the bucket, "But hey, since the kid and I don't have a wish; when we win you can use the magic tchotchke to bring back your sisters and get out all those warm and fuzzy feelings out in the open, right?"
Rider smiles, "Yeah...you're right," then she changes topic, "Anyways; I just came to check in and see if you were going to be awake for lunch. Your Master is probably finished cooking by now."
Awesome, food sounded great right about now, "Alright, thanks." And now, time for food.
Lunch was a rather quiet affair; apparently Shirou skipped school by saying he was sick, and Bazett managed to hypnotize Taiga and some other chick to buy it. Kid looked a little...crestfallen; something's got him down, but you don't know what. Bazett's also fairly quiet and a little despondent; but that was understandable all things considered.
Still, you weren't one for depression; so you were going to tackle at least one of these depressing issues, you just gotta pick which one...
