I'm considering putting together a story about Kirk from dark souls finding himself in Dresden files, but my knowledge of the series is a bit faded at this point.

How do you think he might fare given the circumstances?

Probably not well? He is undead, so the White Council might take him down, he has no support, or understanding of his new world, and Kirk is a murdering asshole.

His brand of undeath is more difficult to pick up on than most I'd imagine. You are correct about his understanding of things, but I was thinking along the lines of dropping him somewhere in the faerie.

Keep in mind in game representations of strength aren't completely accurate as well.
