Threads & Polls - can we delete old polls?

So I am not sure if this is already something in the site and I completely missed it, but I've noticed that I create a poll for a thread - but then I can't delete the old poll and post a new poll. Is there a way we can make it so old polls can be retired or something so threads can host new polls later on? Or is this already a feature and I am just totally missing it? If that's the case, please someone help me lol

Just report the first post and request a poll deleting
 
Iirc the hope was for the XF2 transition to bring the ability for users to delete their own polls, without staff intervention. But it just sort of didn't happen. We moved to XF2, and the option still wasn't there even though it was supposed to be. Or if it was, nobody has found it and spread the knowledge around. It's hard for staff to check for such things too, since our accounts obviously have staff permissions and would have the option regardless.

I suppose one of the admins could make a test dummy alt or something just to check such things, but I don't think that's happened as of yet.
