Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.

Tried to write a cyoa, got stunlocked on step one

Not much else I felt like reading, decided to take advantage of coming college vacation to try my hand at writing something with a worm cyoa.
I was just messing around with options to see what I had available and holy that took most of my day because there was a lot. Stumbled upon the crossover option and noticed that lotm was an option. I decided to settle on a worm X lotm crossover on account of the power systems being hand out pieces of a larger eldritch entity and I thought something fun could be made from that connection but I can't for the life of me figure out how I would do that.
World merge? Entity landing by mistake in the middle of a eldritch war, hilarity ensues? Eldritch corpses/beyonder characteristics crash in the middle of the cycle, hilarity ensues? or
it's actually the same world like, yknow?
And that is just step one, after that there is plotting how the world changed from this crossover and how the power systems work together or if they are exclusive and the effects on factions old and new, and THEN I get to create the main character. Damn this whole writing business is hard
