using ai as tool to assist writing. good or bad?

so what you guys think of using ai as tool? i been using it just for fun lately. basically just putting my own ideas, dialogues, plots and voice. wanted to hear your opinions.
 
I think it's poor practice, personally. Even leaving aside the moral issues with generative models they've consistently proven to just make less interesting stuff than real people do. I'd limit it to at most providing alternate ways of phrasing something you've already written.
