  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

Hello Future Me did a Video on Video Game Worldbuilding, pretty much describing what I mean by "Metaphorical distances" in Video Games among other things.

You ever see someone complain about a plot hole in your fic in one chapter that you know is explained or expanded upon in a later chapter? When I see those I feel like they take too much effort not to respond to. Responding can lead to a stupid argument but not responding leaves someone with a false impression of your work. I find typing out a response but not sending it satisfies the itch to respond without the possibility of a pointless argument, but it's still ultimately a waste of time. I feel like it's one thing if you don't like my writing, but it's an entirely different issue if you've read over 20 chapters in but can't read 5-7 more to see a supposed plot hole filled in/explained at a plot relevant time. I feel that it's a personality flaw on my part that I feel compelled to respond in the first place, even if I don't.
I think you may have posted in the wrong thread by mistake, this is the video games thread.
