Whilst Whitney's vs Al Gym battle isn't going to just another milestone for Ai and normal type Gym leader Whitney and her famous titular MilkTank.
As AI vs Whitney's is possibly a good fashionable explosive Pokémon match up between these Pokémon battles.
The Journey continues
Cheers!

I like the fic. A lot. I loved the previous chapter; Gardevoir training was beautifully described.

only complaint so far is that the number of Pokémon in the initial star badge challenge is messed up. At multiple instances over multiple chapters.

Its written as a 7 on 7 match. Maybe the gym leader battles are changed for star badges or there is a final battle against their strongest ace.

When the referee even mentioned the count (incorrectly) it leads me to believe that the author had revised and changed the outcome of the match to the point where they lost track of it.
{Three down for both trainers} was incorrect - Al had lost Gardevoir (#2) and Manetric (#1)
- Faulkner had lost I think Swellow, Noivern, Honchkrow and Togekiss.

Then it was glisvor corviknight and aerodactyl.

There needs to be a count and a revision for the battle to make sense.

Otherwise it was well done. The battle was dynamic the flaws are numerous (but hand waved away due to pokeworld logic) and I enjoyed reading it.

I think 2 Pokémon should be the way to go for a few more battles until his training with his team really kicks in then 1 Pokémon with a rare 2 or 3 when a surprising strong foe comes along

What i like about this fic is that no one knows protect, protect is like, a bucket of cold water on all action, very sad, only follow up is to attack again or have the mon that did the protect doing a comeback after using it, in this fic is everyone in beast mode all the time, like 2 brutes punching each other in the face, non stop, trading blows, very manly battles.
