What would you do if you wete thrown into the last world you read about. I.e you read a harry potter fic your in harry potter. As long as its not a reincarnatiin fic your in that Au.

When you do you gain three things.

1)Access to the local major power system with no knowledge on how to use it
2)Knowlesldge of where you are in the timeline at all times.
3)One MINOR ability from a different world. I.e no full on cheats.

https://mtlnation.com/novel/national-transfer-necromancer-i-am-a-disaster

1) Welp... I guess Imma cultivator now with a "game" system.
2) Lol... it's war... eternal war.
3) Bork? Minor... erm... hmmm... exalted "godblooded" bloodline that comes with essence usage.

Do what the protag does... grow stronk, fight enemies, fuck girls... you know, standard isekai template action.

Oh fuck, I am in DXD

1) what does dxd human have? Touki? Here I hope sacred gears and probably magic learning and senjutsu.

2) early before the canon is probably my best bet to survive and train.

3) don't know if anyone knows this or if this ability is considered minor but my choice is curve learning, the simple ability to learn as long there is an example and continuous practice.

Mushoku Tensei... Fuck!

1. I am now literally pre-split!Laplace in skills and magic but I don't know how to use them.
2. Ten years before canon? Noice.
3. I'll probably choose Bolt Crank's power to eat anything and turn them into a weapon or something. (No, not the godly Bolt Crank at the end of the manga, the Bolt Crank in the beginning of the manga.)

Armoured Core 6.

Predictions? Starve, or death by exposure to Rubiconian wilderness.

In unlikely event of survival, beg for sanctuary with the RLF as refugee, volunteer as militant fighter to avoid eviction. Eventually perish in a PCA crackdown, or Arquebus/Balam operation.

Assuming Point 1 translates to Augmentation, be conscripted as part of RLF's AC corps. Last a while on subpar parts and munitions, hopefully survive long enough to witness
Liberation of Rubicon
and retire as a mealworm farmer with PTSD issues.

Rather fortunate even so, all considered.

1) Yer a WIZARD!(Wand not included)
2) Story starts summer of GoF so much political madness with more to follow, plus a soon-to-be-resurrected genocidal maniac
3) Minor power huh? I pick Beat Boy's shapeshifting powers (I am ALL THE ANIMAGUS!)

So in this world I am a 13-yo first year student at Hogwarts who looks like he fell into a vat of green dye and it didn't wash out, I would probably focus my studies on Transfiguration and Enchanting to try and survive the war and go into business for myself. Won't worry about buying a house b/c I can crash at a friends house for part of the summer and spend the rest of it alternating between zipping around as a bird and begging for food as a cute doggo/kitty. By graduation I should know enough magic to make my own house in the wilderness somewhere. Sign on with the Weasley twins as a silent partner supplying enchanted bric-a-brac to sell for income and hope I don't end up a casualty of the Blood War pt2

https://forum.questionablequesting.com/threads/the-new-ron-kim-possible-si.19403/

Frankly the world of Kim Possible seems terrifying to me; sure the big blue goof isn't so bad but with only two hormone addled teens and a naked mole-rat standing in the way of his crazed schemes almost always winning only with seconds to spare to say nothing of the other baddies... With the butterfly effect in play I'd likely try to stay way away from messing up team Possible's narrow victories and just try to live as normal a life I can with the bonus of extra existential dread.

I would train up my power(s) to protect myself and/or use it to enrich my life as lowkey as possible while always fearfully aware cartoon/comic book logic means I'll probably get press-ganged into the plot somehow, which I'd try to get out of as much as I could.

I end up in Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei meaning I'm in a world infested with demons during a death event at school which is stressful. My only survival method is to find a Yokai or a comp to save my life because that world goes to hell fast, things is really that my chances of surviving are really low and I feel like I wouldn't make far in that world.

Our world, just even more fucked. On purpose. Oh, and there are Werewolves, Vampires and Mages and Stuff.
Depending on what I get, I at least know where to find instruction.
Minor ability from another world - Shounen-level willpower would be nice.

My goal would be go after one of the many groups that are making the world worse.

Just finished reading Ciaphas Cain: Duty Calls set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe.

No doubt about it I would just die :(

Currently reading an old Resident Evil fic The Good Tenant on SB.
It features a large cast of characters from various RESI games and movies. The male OC works as a medic for STARS and SWAT. He is surprisingly not overpowered, and his levels are comparable to those of other characters.

Depending on when I arrive in the story, I'd either be in Raccoon City two years before the outbreak or in the midst of one.

If I arrived two years earlier, I would most likely spend some time in the city looking for a job, a cheap apartment, and so on. I doubt I could accomplish much by myself as a civilian, and alerting the appropriate authorities - whoever they are - is very likely to attract the wrong kind of attention. I'd probably send in an anonymous tip on Chief Iron's serial killer tendencies and his secret taxidermy room. Also have a detailed file on various B.O.W.S, timeline, characters etc.

It's unlikely that I'd survive if I arrived in the middle of the outbreak, but if I did, my main goal would be to find the main characters so I could leave before Raccoon city gets bombed. It's a boring answer, but without any useful powers, I doubt I'd risk my life to play hero.

Now, if I were a Harry Potter-style wizard or a Prototype blacklight virus like Alex Mercer, I'd likely break into various Umbrella facilities to gather evidence and interfere with the plot.

I'd pick something to become immune to infections.

Possibly have the most boring/best universe here.

MGE.

I either end up living in some dark ages village in the middle of nowhere and die of exposure, or I get snatched by some random low-level monster and throw myself off a cliff after 50 years of boredom.

Oh good lord I'm utterly FUCKED. It was a 40k thread on the /tg/ archives. Find nearest method of suicide and hope as I'm technically foreign I don't end up in the warp to be used as a onahole for daemons.

Cast a powerful spell that ends up with my soul being erased...while summoning a DARK ELDAR incursion over the place.
You really need to piss me a fucking lot to make me WISH the Dark Eldar on you.

Well... read this fully again. "If I had to be isekaid to a JRPG with harem, can't I be the harem protag instead of a harem member? (Trails of Cold Steel) "

1. Odds are I'm a witch now despite being a guy because that might be interesting. Because I believe that's the first power source or something.
2. Rather pointless because I still have no idea what the events are suppose to be, give I don't know the timeline of cold steel.
3. Peak human condition because I'm sure as hell going to need it if I'm forced to get involved.

The last thing I read was Wuthering Heights
1. I don't think any power system exist here, or at least none I can read about
2. Well don't visit the place while Heathcllff is still alive and il be fine
3. If there's one thing I want is what Heathcllff did during his exile, cus I want to know where to get all that money

If you desire something more exciting the the 2nd last thing I read was Forbidden Scrollery so
1. It's Touhou, there's a decent chance I'll be turned into a girl, but I can use spellcards now
2. Well I guess I'll just stear clear of angry shrine maidens during an incident
3. You know what I'll be a tsukomogami, a book one and make a fake body to interact, like Kogasa

In Wuthering Heights, just stay away from the damn place and you are just fine.

Reading an entertainment light novel (After the divorce, I became a male god)
where most Chinese music artists are missing so the MC and author can plagiarize- one of those- so probably check what books, movies, tv shows and music isn't existent and maybe try to cobble together my own version, and also curse that I wasn't shoved into a more interesting universe and thank Zod that it's not Worm.
Edit- Whoops, didn't notice I posted on here before, sorry bout that. Anyway for any wondering I gave up on After The Divorce a hundred or so chapters in and can't really recommend it, it's really the standard fare for the other world song plagiarism LN with nothing really setting it apart from the hundred of others just like it.

LIMBUS COMPANY

Oh god...

1)Access to the local major power system with no knowledge on how to use it

Damn! Guaranteed EGO and Shin!? What a steal!

Though, having access to EGO automatically lets a user know how to use their's...

2)Knowlesldge of where you are in the timeline at all times.

It doesn't matter where or when I end up in, I'm going to get screwed! Better see if the company have any job openings for me...

3)One MINOR ability from a different world. I.e no full on cheats.

Does the health regeneration (e.g. CoD, Halo, etc...) from video games count? I mean, I'll still get killed if I get damaged for too long.

Find a Shingen-ryuu martial arts dojo and do my best to learn Nen.

Ah bugger me sideways.

And now I'm a Psyker to boot?! This gets better and better! Who wouldn't want to be a conduit for demons and/or used as a powersource for a galactic lighthouse while everyone hates and distrusts you!!! ( /s)

In regards to the timeline, we have such wonderful locations/eras like: The aptly named War in Heaven. Where retarded racist Space Elves on behalf of Stoner Toads and allied with SuperFungi duked it out with Robot Liches and broke the universe...and the afterlife turning it into hell. Any flavor of "modern times" where Yorha waifus were driven mad by said hell and one of the Space Liches Metal God, turning on humanity. The Daddy doesn't love me Horus Heresy and 40k actual... Oh, and Space Locusts and SentientFungi Orks! And that's just the things that spring to mind. Australia has nothing on this shit!

Or to make it even clearer, doesn't matter when. As TB put it, probably getting eaten by the nids or krumped by the Krorks/Orks.

As for 'superpower'? Considering the imminent mess? Imma go with 'Ki' from Dragonball. Not a minor power persay but that's at its peak. Merely being given access to the stuff and having to pull a training from--the irony--Hell to grind it out and make it worthwhile? And without a teacher?

I'd say its ok, for if I somehow manage to survive and find the literal year+ of unmolested training time it'd take me to, hopefuly, get to Raditz levels...I'd bloody well have earned it by that point :xD

I was just re-reading a post I made about the Death Gate novels, so I'm pretty screwed. Access to the Rune Magic is nice, but utterly useless without knowing the language. I don't suppose omnilingualism would be minor enough to qualify for point 3, would it? At least the ability to look into the future and see the possibilities of what's coming should be handy for avoiding trouble even without the knowledge of how to pick which possibility I want to happen that would come with the ability to actually speak the local rune languages.

If I'm lucky, I ended up on Chelstra, where the nifty gravity powered submarines I was talking about in the post come from. That place is peaceful and is generally probably the best place to live in Sundered Realms of Death Gate. Sure, the water makes Rune Magic stop working, but unless I get that omnilingualism, I don't actually have any ability to use it anyway. The embodiments of elemental evil are imprisoned there too, but since the place has achieved world peace, they basically all leave for greener pastures as soon as the Death Gate opens.
Fear and Hunger.

Unrealistic option that would probably never happen: save everyone and escape.

Real option: suicide or being eaten alive by dogs and raped.

GG
You could just leave. The characters all have their own personal reasons to delve into the Dungeon, which is why they stop when you try to make them walk downs from the first screen. You can just nope out of there at any time, and absolutely should.

I might try to get the girl and escape with her, since she's got such a shitty deal and her becoming a god makes things so much worse for her and for everyone else, but that's as far as I'd even try to go, and probably not even then if I couldn't leverage some useful cheat ability out of point 3, like invisibility or something to help me stealth past the enemies in the upper parts of the dungeon.

I'm stuck in the Avatar: The Legend of Korra series with the ability to bend.

The question is, which of the five bending practices do I have access to? If I could choose, I'd pick Energy as that's the one that the other four were born from. It lets me grant and take away bending to/from others and lets me do cool stuff like astral project or bend spirit energy. I'd need a lot of work but I'll have the ability to give myself different bending styles, even if it'll be one at a time.

The minor ability I'll receive is the outright inhuman durability from "normal" people in One Piece. It's not really a power, it's just the Shounen standard of being able to take punishment and heal quicker from nearly everyone in the setting.

I guess I'm getting sent to Republic City where I'll be a homeless person, which is going to suck massively. Most of my time is going to be spent finding something to make my life more bearable and after that, train my Energybending.

I've read about Warhammer universe. Even three gifts not going to help me:

1) Does it mean I am psyker? Who has no knowledge about how to deal with this 'gift'? Fuck, I am so dead, probably even worse than dead.
2) I don't think it would help me a lot. Maybe even worse - I get attention of numerous precognitive entities in the galaxy.
3) Something to prevent my soul from being eaten? Or to be better at hiding? I am not sure what minor power and from what place I can take to make my situation noticeably better. Some of them actually can cause more problems for me, then they solve.

I would try to survive and be below radar, but I don't think it would last for too long. Depends on where actually am I.

I would scream in rage at the skies over the fact that I can't simply unleash the Rumbling or the Legion over Gilead and the rest of the world.

So, the last thing I have read was the OG Walking dead comics. So not crazy unique. Most of the rest of the stuff I have read were simple conversations or working on writing some of my own stories. (I don't think that counts.) What I did would probably depend on what time I started and where I got inserted. But finding some people to travel/live with would probably be a priority. I guess I could write a little about some of the micro stuff.

So my last read was Fabled Webs Pokepocaplypse story.

1) The potential to be a Psychic and Aura user is nice. And odds are i can get lucky and find a book of some sorts to teach me after clearing a Mystery Dungeon.
2) kinda useless unless its a heads up to when shits gonna get worse?
3) an empty inventory that only i can access.

All told I think id be ok. Odds are id tame a Rhyhorn and from there make my way North looting everything useful from any abandoned homes and stores I come across while killing and harvesting any Pokemon that attack us that we dont need to flee from and diving into the occasional Mystery Dungeon that we can handle.

Considering I've been doing nothing but reading marvel and DC fanfics for the past couple of days when I'm not doing DND stuff, uh.

Probably find that one crazy cat guy in Gotham and ask to be made a test subject.

If I'm lucky, become catgirl, proceed directly to shenanigans.

If I'm really lucky I convince him to splice me with fox DNA instead after helping him steal shit.

Getting my teeth busted in by batman is a small price to pay for having a fluffy tail.

Although I'd probably end up a twisted half human monster instead of adorable and fluffy, because Gotham.

Except I'd be fine with that too and probably try to make a low budget horror movie :V
