Hi All

Until recently I used the word count vs views count to judge if a new story was worth reading.
Yet when I went looking today I found the word count was missing.... did I screw something up or was that done on purpose?

Cheers

Ps: Please tell me if I was supposed to put this elsewhere, I couldn't find anything that looked right.

What Theme are you using? Also, mobile or desktop view? (Some options only appear in Desktop view).
Have you tried clearing cookies/cache?

I'm experiencing the same thing. I've tried several different Styles including default (Light responsive), xenforo default, blackend, and UI.X dark. None of them show wordcount. It's just not there in the HTML.

Is it missing from the threadmark list, or somewhere else? I can see it in the threadmark list.

(Dark Responsive (Green).)

Threadmark list? I'm not sure what you mean by that.
I was talking about the general list of threads.
Story threads have story posts marked in the forum software ("threadmarked"). This tells the forum to include them in the story's word count, and allows easy navigation between story posts.

You can access a list of threadmarks via a drop-down menu at the top of a thread page, or via clicking the "Index" button at the top and bottom of story posts. This will list word count, as well as the number of chapters.

Thanks, I knew about the threadmarks, but not that there was a word count there as well.
