[CYOA] Worms, whales and isekai

Two entities spiral through space, past stars and planets alike. Their parts shift between dimensions. Approaching a world, one you recognize as Earth, they shatter into hundreds of millions of pieces into millions of Earths. The shattered pieces, shards of the entities, take root on empty Earths before bonding with humans. Humans at their lowest, would go on to learn through conflict. Through this, they would advance the entity.

Something went wrong with their cycle this time. A mistake causes the more intelligent of the entities to crash into a planet where it is, not long after, put down. The entity's shards remain, in the hands of those who wish for the death of the other entity, but things are not so easy. Even with all the parahumans, those bonded with the entities' shards, working in perfect unison, humanity would stand no chance against the remaining entity in a fight.

However, you may change that. You had the luck to be born in a world with an unrestricted Precog who didn't know he was one; Wildbow aka John C. McCrae. Unfortunately, your whole universe is a blind spot for all Thinkers sans the entity itself. Wildbow's predictions, while perfect, do not account for your shared universe's existence. Your shared universe is many years ahead of Earth Aleph and Bet, where it is still 2011, or even earlier.

Rules for character Build creation:

• For a build to be valid the difficulty must be Hard/Negative (tier5)
• The setting must for the build must be Worm(weather it's an AU or canon is up to you)
• The scenario start must be January 3rd,2011
• Ascension powers are prohibited
• Paragon Powers are prohibited
• No one purchase may exceed 25 Points
• combination/fusion purchases may not exceed a maximum of 50 points (the base purchase plus any additional ones.
• all Meta (other) options are prohibited
• All World perks are prohibited

Notes:

All choices across all builds are valid, this means that if one person chooses an option that changes the world, positive or otherwise the world will remain that way.

The same or similar choices will have additional effects with diminishing returns(say one person chooses the world size option twice and someone else does the same. This means that the first choice remains +100% and the 2nd persons choice will be halved to 50%, every other option will be halved further).

Conflicting choices between builds will have the effects chosen by the GM(me).


For a Build to be valid, you must upload the build itself (use copy to clipboard) and the code(use copy to clipboard)

And finally there are 4 slots for this quest, these slots are determined by the "Party(late to the party, this party is just getting started, and this party is getting crazy) drawbacks. At least one person must include one of these drawbacks.

More slots may open if multiple people choose to have one of these drawbacks.

I slowly drift through the blind eternities, lazily floating as the nigh Limitless energies of the space between continues its useless assault.

My attention wanders going over worlds like the channel surfing couch potato that I am. My mind, infinite in bandwidth, finds nothing of interest in this multiverse cluster, yet another bust. I sigh, relaxing the control on my power and letting my energies stretch as the worlds around my form are reduced to primordial soup. The eternities screech in simulated pain that only space can make as I accelerate through infinite space to another cluster. Time already loose in the eternity's shatters under my proverbial might.


Inside another cluster, the song of the eternities is left behind, the methodological tune of a more scientific based physics system forms itself. Forcing me to be more careful as to not risk destroying the cluster around me.

Yet again I Laze through space, this time my control snapped into place with an Iron grip as I let my attention waft over the cluster, I peer into the close worldlines. lines of thought branch off before I start searching.


It was a good idea, they said. Take the deal, become a Jumper and travel the multiverse. what a ROB doesn't tell you is how fucking dull it is after your break your chain. Ascending into a ROB yourself.

After an adventure so big, so grand as to overshadow anything found in myth. Everything else just seems so…... Grey.


Honestly besides taking care of the kids and sex nothing has that spark anymore. And even then, sex stops feeling as good after you achieve nirvana. Something I will always regret (seriously, if you have the chance. Don't). After fighting beings like son Goku, galactus hell darkseid what's the point? I've seen kingdoms rise and fall. Seen heroes die and legends rise. What even is the point anymore?


After another couple of moments, millions of streams of thought come to a close. An infinite amount would likely get the job done immediately but then where is the challenge? a challenge is what makes things fun and if even my philosophical thoughts are instantly solved what's the fucking POINT?!?!

"Hmm" I hum into nothing, creating sounds waves in anti-space which quickly unravels the foreign concept. That's something to think about. Sighing I feel as something else grabs my senses.


Bringing my full attention upon the universe in question I blink in recognition. Two crystalline forms circle around one another. Massive monoliths of crystal biological supercomputers travel towards a pale blue dot. One preoccupied while the other a vigilant guard.


Yes, this will do. This will do quite nicely. Worm was always a personal favorite. Even nearing the end of my chain, it had a couple curve balls and quite a few challenges. Though I doubt they'd be all that entertaining to face now.


Hmm perhaps something to watch then? Looking to a different cluster I look upon the worldline from which I spawned, and a grand number of souls with such potential. Of fine spiritual making perfect for enhancement.


Now this is going to be fun.
