Did you delete some of your works on AO3? I get "Sorry, you don't have permission to access the page you were trying to reach." message when I try to read "Crown of Slaves". EDIT: I noticed that several authors recently had their works temporarily (hopefully) hidden because they forgot to remove references to commercial sites such as patreon or ko-fi prior to posting and run afoul of terms of service. Is it related?

Not really? To look through a kaleidoscope you must block out the rest of the world to see these images.
A reverse kaleidoscope is where the images surround you, and shift around as you do, and you can only block them out.

I thought there were a lot of parallels there. I look forward to when/if you return to yours. I've been disappointed at the lack of more of Date's story, and you seemed to have a pretty good setup for at least one more arc worth of content.
