Okay; on to a different topic.

As of the 31st, my dream job is evaporating. Gone. I am still employed with the company, but they're losing the contract for where I'm at. I don't know where they'll place me, so I have no idea what sort of work hours, if any, I'll be getting. Could be a little, could be a lot. I might end up with lots of time to write, or none at all. Damn sure I won't be able to write to the volume I have been, if I get any sort of reasonable hours.

Anyway, just letting you know.

I'll keep you guys posted.

Even more tempted to give my omake a rewrite now, lol. Could fit Marquis advice in pretty easily. Either Clair only shows up at the hospitals like that once a month or so; or it was a freebie demonstration, and future visits will cost the hospital $50,000. Something like that.

Still need to do a grammar/spelling edit at any rate...

Sadly, it looks like the timing won't work out to have the woman turn out to be Annette, unless Claire stays out of the cape scene for around a year, which I don't see happening...

I think my omake really got his creative juices flowing for Another Way, not that I'm complaining, it's AWESOME seeing my rough-draft omake transformed into a finished product.

Probably going to spend the next day or two going over my omake and the chapter, noting the way it's integrated, the things that are altered, and the angles I failed to consider when writing it. As I've said in the past, I'm not that good at writing, and this is a unique opportunity for me to improve my own writing skills... without having to actually write.:D

*edit- And I REALLY like how most of the stuff I mentioned about how I envisioned the scene playing out, that didn't quite get mentioned in the omake itself made it into the final chapter.:D:D:D

    For anyone who hasn't voted on this thread before, the voting rules go as follows:

    1) UP TO six votes. I will not count anything extra, and a write-in will likely be ignored (if I want to write a different story, I will, but at my own discretion). Suggestions are welcome, but I am under no obligation to carry them out. And just remember, the more stories I am writing, the longer it will take for your favourites to roll back around.
    2) First vote is worth six points, second is worth five, and so on.
    3) You can't vote twice on the same story. The voting code will count the last vote and ignore previous ones.
