I know I've seen pictures of Russian kids/teens in a mix of school and military uniforms handling guns, so that was my first thought. Military academy does make sense though.

I didn't see chevrons, but I wasn't looking closely, nor did I pause the video. As for her age, not everyone looks it, though she could have an 'academy rank' that does not directly translate to any degree of real authority.

I didn't catch it until I rewatched it. The first time I didn't even see the shoulder boards. Maybe 1 chevron per year after first? Maybe? Doesn't matter I suppose, just kind of interesting.
