The Eligius Saga

I would like thank y'all for willing to look through my stories. So, in addition to JERICHO: INTO THE BREAK OF DAWN, I would like include another story called Eligius, who is originally known as Quest For [FUN].

Named after St. Eligius, the French saint of goldsmiths, blacksmiths and metalworkers, this is the saga of the one who will be what future historians of Earth Bet will later dubbed as the "second coming of Hero himself".

----(PROLOGUE)----​

At the very center of a vast stretching desert of living crystalline formation lives a levitating continent-sized construct made out of the very same material as the one scattered throughout the empty planet that it is in.

A perpetually shifting hypercube with over three hundred billion tendrils stretching far and wide, upon the sky, the ocean and the lands of the world it inhabited. Sufficiently advanced quantum computations are in a constant motion; its mathematical prowess is so advanced that it'll take trillions of years for any species in the known multiverse to be able to comprehend even a fraction of its numerical understanding.

This goes to show the otherworldly nature of one of the prestigious fragments of the whole, the one designated as [LIBRARIAN]

In an endless search for the <ANSWER> to the enigma that is <ENTROPY>, its main purpose throughout the Cycles is to act as a living archive of every scientific knowledge found in whatever world they may come across.

Every breakthrough, every principle, every scientific law, every method...all of them are to be recorded and stored inside the vast inter-dimensional sanctum within it. As a result, other units will often come to him for reference. Perhaps, a bit of inspiration for their next procedure, in exchange for [DATA] that they individually collected.

Yet despite its huge collection of knowledge that had been accumulated for over eons, even those are not enough to answer the misfortune that it is facing.

Now, in the canon timeline, [LIBRARIAN] bonded itself with a certain host in Ethiopia, a dreamer who advocated for equal right for his people by the name of Mulatu Desalegn. Despite his good intention, he, unfortunately, grew to be a warlord that would later be known as Ogun The Butcher; when his political coup in Addis Ababa failed, Mulatu decided to go for an extreme martial takeover, causing the four-year civil war in which millions of lives were blown into the wind as Ethiopia bathed in their blood.

But here, the [LIBRARIAN] felt annoyed that Mulatu died from a fatal bite of a snake while he was busy brewing coffee for him and his friend to enjoy at the table. It had spent decades searching for a perfect host, and when it finally did, said host just FUCKING CROAK!

Eh, whatever. It's not the first time that this problem occurs and it will, in spite of its wish, never be the last.

So once again, it use its built-in scanner system to search for the right host on this Earth Bet and–

What kind of style chooser you pick? If it's the white ones, then that's understandable. Just go for the dark/blackened ones.​
