    Mr. Zoat I just had the most wonderful/awful idea. I was listening to Meant to be Yours from Heathers and the idea just struck me. Have you considered an AU that was pretty much the same up until the first Merging with the Ophidian? With the Ophidian being much more possessive/obsessive over not wanting to let go of Paul? Essentially a JD-type Ophidian?

    I really like to imagine that Paul went with his earlier idea of feeding the nascent God of Technology to the Ophidian for a boost, then bursts into Olympus so hard he knocks the giant marble doors straight out of place and they actually fly over and impale themselves in the wall above Zeus's head.

    I'm not stopping anyone downloading it now. A few helpful souls made earlier parts available in an easily downloadable format. I probably won't, but that's more because I don't know how to then because I don't want it to happen.

    The way I've been scraping it up so far is using the SingleFile addon (in Firefox) to just save a copy of each page of the archive to my computer.

    Sure, it's 180ish .html items to have in a folder...but on the other hand the font size + font color + intermittent embedded images iare exactly as they are on the site, and this way I don't have to worry about where I'd need to choose to break it into volumes.
    So Zoat, I recently went to the military history museum in Edinburgh Castle. And I could find not one reference to an actual Scottish victory.

    As the only British person I'm aware of who responds to my messages, have historical Scots actually been that shitty at warfare?

    Battle of Bannockburn. Battle of Stirling Bridge, though that was a bit of a cheat. I'm not really an expert on Scottish history, so that's just off the top of my head.

    I've watched some episodes. Haven't watched that one outside of a few clips. I think the canonical fear lodges that the Sinestro Corps use work in a similar way.

    But it will push and manipulate you into facing your fears, accepting them and overcoming them. Fear after fear, from minor ones like spiders to sensible ones like the fear of being gutted like a fish to more abstract fears like the fear of becoming your father.

    Decades can pass while you undergo these experiences, building up to the fear you will face to the point where you'll likely never know you've ever left the hole and will have to simply accept that fear.

    But from the outside it will just be a few seconds.
    Mr Zoat, I was wondering if there are any links where the story is better organised. Not that I mind the POVs in other universes.

    I would just prefer to read Paul's story more easily. If not, can you group link the various characters?

    I would presume that it is impossible to access for people without QQ accounts. I know I recommended it to someone on SB and they got annoyed they couldn't find it despite it being in the SFW section.

    Right, which means they care about you. For pretty much all of human history with cats, more mice = more dead people, so they're protecting you and proud of it by showing it to you. They also (according to some not necessarily accurate but recent science) see you as another cat, so since you've been feeding them so much they felt obliged to return the favor with a seagull.

What I mean is that, can he "step out", manipulate, desires, talk to the Ophidian and do the other unusual things he does with the orange light without using his ring? Also, why did you choose the orange light? Not that I mind, but it seems a bit curious seeing how many other variants there are.

    In theory, anyone can do all of those things without a power ring. It's just really hard.

    At the moment, he can weakly manipulate desires and talk to the Ophidian.

    I honestly don't remember why I chose the orange light. It might have been because it was user-friendly with an obvious psychological drawback. Might have been because the comics clearly weren't interested in exploring the psychological aspect.

And when I talked about the anti-life, I didn't mean that Grayven had to use it. Instead, anyone that has been exposed to it in the paragon's world could. Will Darkseid ever appear in paragon's world?

    Ah, that's a bit of shame to see the writer not comfortable collaborating. Qash happened when Paragon was fighting reach ships in space, the ships tried bending space to their advantage, but the paragon undid that. He also compressed the space around some other reach ships to disable/destroy them. I was wondering whether he used his ring or the orange light to do it.
