Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
The next chapter of Pearls & Detectives rises from 2700 to 7200 words in three days. My muse is cooperating, yaaaaas! I think I ought to have the chapter posted in like a day or two at this rate. Yay!
A prod from some friends got me back onto writing more Pearls & Detectives and I think I've managed to square the circle that gave me writing block almost a year ago. Also, I've been playing Hitman while waiting for the new Phantom Brave to come out on PC. Freelancer mode is very very fun.
Factorio has instilled within me a deep writer's block. I dream of the factory. I eat for the factory. I live for the factory. There's some minor IRL stuff going on, but it's seriously minor. It's more factorio's new expansion than anything. Also, I've struggled with the next chapter of pokemon...
The siren call of Factorio Space Age has tried to keep me away from writing and has successfully done so for the last 5 days, but I managed to drag myself away to write ~1k words today.
I'll try to go for it the next time I hit a writer's block or need a break from what I'm currently writing. Which is, of course, pokemon.
I've been having the thought of going back to it bouncing around in the back of my head for the last month or so, anyway. :D
