A notice about Rule 3 regarding sites hosting pirated/unauthorized content has been made. Please see here for details.
Staff is working to deal with the problem of synonymous tags. See here for more information and to suggest tag mergers.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
Thanks for taking up the cause of merging tags! It has started to become a bit of a difficulty when using the search.
As for comments...
I would like to gently-to-moderately push against merging the general "self insert" with "si/oc" stuff. It's a pet peeve of mine, but the "original character...
That's a pretty wild idea. I don't think I'd go and make them part of the same world, even if it's the sort of off-the-wall kind of thing that would be fun. Maybe it'd fit as an omake or something. XD
That feel when you get really sick and while trying to write while sick, end up getting caught up in the meandering do-nothing plot of the episode(s) you're adapting. Now that I feel better, I ended up throwing away like 2k words and starting over from partway through. Ugh.
After some re-reading of my own writing and watching some episodes again, my muse responded positively. The next chapter has started. It's actually going to be Hypno's Naptime, but with less "figuring out the plot" and more "worldbuilding fun".
It will definitely be continued, but maybe not before the end of the year? My muse has been on a digimon kick.
But since you asked, I'll re-read the last 10 chapters and see if my muse wants to cooperate with more ash ketchum. :)
I only write here, honestly. :D
NIS games (Disgaea, et al) are pretty good if you enjoy games where you can grind and get a bazillion levels, just for the love of becoming overpowered. :D
