For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

I bet other trainers are going to hate Shiro. They will warn their Uma's over and over not to try to keep pace with Shiro and then break down in tears when their Uma's either try to flee from the monster in their slipstream or try to keep up with Shiro brutal early pace.
As long as Tanya...
I wonder what the reactions will be like when word gets out that she is aiming for both crowns at the same time?
Edit:
Also, if "bad luck" keeps affecting other Umas in Shirogane's races, will Rice Shower think she has found another Uma that can relate with her?
Think Shirogane would approach El Condor Pasa on advice who would be the best heals to study?
I believe it mentioned that the girl stumbled across the finish line, so it sounds like the girl was hit be exhaustion rather than injury.
I wonder if Haru will drag her friend Rice along the next time she goes looking to play Hill ninja with Shirogane?
Even if she doesn't, the more "games" Haru learns from her new ninja friend, the better chances the cutest uma has of finally winning a race.
As for Grass, here is hoping that...
I think the biggest difference between Tanya and any modern "War-Uma" breeds is the fact that she has military training, either from her War-Horse incarnation or from her second life as a war mage.
On the War Horse issue, remember that modern Umas are based on modern horses from our world. So war-Umas are not odd to read about in history books, but finding one in this age would be like finding a fully trained samurai that has dedicated their life to Bushido.
It would also have the nasty side effect of causing other Umas to panic and start sprinting too early to keep up, leading to more racers running out of Stamina.
With the comment that gamblers would love Shirogane for her unpredictability, I can only image how the would react to Shirogane in the same race as Gold Ship. Two times the chaos!
I would not be surprised to learn that Shirogane has the strength and endurance to pull a move from Gold Ship's playbook and simply plow though the chewed up and muddy track close to the corner rather than going around like the rest of the Umas.
That would require her to change her style. So far she has taken to riding the slipstream of the pace setter before cutting tight on the final curve and then outright body blocking those trying to sprint past on the final stretch.
Kind of hard to body block if you aren't already at the lead...
Shirogane is going to get the reputation as a terror on the longer races, and that isn't even talking about her endurance. She is going to jump scare so many pace setters that didn't realizes she was following in their wake the entire race, only to pop out when they are starting to tire near...
