There are ways to be a moderator WITHOUT being an asshole. You should learn them. I once moderated a very contentious group, and I can tell you that you don't always have to wield the hammer. As Biigoh stated below, tact is a thing, and moderators should use it as much as possible. I'm pretty new to this site, and I'm extremely unimpressed with the archaic and pointless rules and dickish moderation I've seen so far.

I know I was warned so I accept the punishment, but rape apologists were let off with no warning despite the harm that rape apologism does to people IRL and when people speak up they are silenced. Some things are more important than forum rules, but if the mods want to let views supporting rapists and blaming victims to be propagated on this forum then there's nothing I can do about it.
