    Just out of curiosity, would DC's new Absolute Universe be a place Lee could end up? I'm kinda curious how his Be A Hero goal would interact with an entire setting based around Control is Absolute.

    I do not see lee doing well, espeically with all the HIGH tier dangers and circumstantial nonsense. one bad encounter with myxlplyx and your dead and for a charcter like LEE probably revenge is being saught on a TX. worlds will burn in his efforts

    If Myx is in the Absolute Universe, we haven't seen him yet. Plus considering the overall thrust of said reality (tampered with by Darksied to make his Tyranny domain the guiding force of said reality), I doubt highly he'd go there if it was presented to him.

    So I know the thread would be the right place to ask, but it's locked at the moment and I know it's going be a little bit before the WCU updates, and a thought occurred to me when rereading it.

    The timeline is doomed for want of a nail, Cap's got a bad case of shrapnel to the brain and unlike BJ Blazkowicz he won't be walking that off through sheer and utter need to Rip and Tear Nazis.

    Rather he is unfortunately dead, not just only mostly dead, though there's probably a good few ways to bring him back Karma could take, to varying degrees of success, available from the company.

    But then there's the other option. Just treat Cap like a broken smartphone and buy a new one.

    All of my Kommisioned stories, well, work on Kofi-commission. For better or worse, people like them, so I have a massive backlog, which I'll be taking November off to try and work through. One chapter of the XME story is Kommissioned, but it's #18 on the Kueue.

    just caught up to the last 4 chaps of draconic remnant, LOVE the story. glad it didn't go TOO far on the despair like i thought it might from the first half of the intro. got so sucked into it, read up to Summoning Surprise in about 35 hours

    Just noticed in the first two chapters of Doomed Skies: the Burger recipe and the cafeteria stunt make up 85 points, then Skycifer goes and copies the plans for the ghost portal (50), and steals a vial of ectoplams (50) and a fenton thermos (25). He doesn't have time to spend these points, but that still comes out to 210, not 180. Did I miss something in my calculation?

    They folded over, but it seems 30pts short. You started with 100, spent 100 on Believable Bluff, gathered 210wp by scavenging, and somehow left with only 180gp. Since none of these last three items are worth 30pts, I'm not sure where they went... not sure if it would impact the story's purchases either way, just thought I'd note it before someone else does.

    And before I forget, how would a mid-fantasy Groundhog-Loop setting like Mother of Learning (recently added to the Interactive WC, which I doubt you use anymore) work under your/Cherico/etc's rules? Things like Capturing someone who then gets erased and re-created at a spiritual level like MOL does, as an example, or the crazy nonsense at the end of Time Braid (the Naruto fanfic)?

    I believe power gaming mechanics should be lessened the longer you want your story to last. With a story the size Lee writes they need to be kept to a minimum or else the MC would become so powerful so quickly that things would be boring, and you'd have to go the DBZ route of "I can destroy a boulder-> I can destroy a house-> I can destroy a city-> -> -> I can destroy the gods who created the multiverse."

    Now Cherico on the other hand writes much shorter stories, so the MC gains power quicker using more power gaming mechanics. Still even he puts the breaks on things because the company fucks everyone, so they would fuck someone who power games even more.

    Much appreciated! Fanfiction's kind of a legal gray area, but it seems rude to crib ideas without at least asking first and crediting them. And, do you have any 'list of terms' you might post to the Rants thread at some point, or some more "Ubiquitous Enemy Faction's" lore dumps for interested writers? Just asking 'cause it's painful to search for them in Story posts manually.

    So, I've been re-reading Draconian Remnant and, aside from realizing how many little plot hooks there are still left to resolve, I've found a deep appreciation for how well you write Torchwick. Given how little screen time he has in the show are you drawing from other forms of media to help depict him? Said another way, do you know of any other stories with torchwick like characters as I find myself craving more.

The story seems to grow with me, offering new reflections and deeper richness every time. I was wondering if you have any plans to continue it?     I have plans, the issue is that Star Wars is pretty much a dead IP right now, and there's no general interest in it. One day I might come back to it,but that day is not today, nor will it likely be this year.

    Hey Lee, so, I know you've got LOADS of stories already but thinking over the list while at work I was wondering if you'd ever do a Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles story. I see stories set in the various "main" numbered games often but I rarely see a Crystal Chronicles take.

    So your opinions on how well Worm is put together is well known, but I'm curious if you have read it's spiritual antithesis Astro City? Both focus on the daily lives of the super community more than the big battles, but while the message in Worm seems to be that things will always get worse in Astro City it was that while things can get bad for a time they can get better again.

    I love Astro City. I've been getting back into comics lately and Astro City still holds up amazingly well. It doesn't have a lot in common with Worm other than superheroes, though.

    That's why I called it the spiritual antithesis. Worm has despair, Astro City always has the silver lining of hope. Though both deal with life outside the mask, and are more character driven than focusing on big fights like most comics. My fave storyline was the middle aged supervillan who did his time in prison and then started a failing business as a PI once he got out.

    • Have you seen the show "Pantheon"? It's a great show about the concept of Uploaded Intelligence. I watched it about a month ago after Season 2 came out. While not a 10/10, the show was definitely at least like a 7/10.

    I've read some waifu catalog fics and every now and then I see them mention Class A or Class E, I was wondering if you could maybe explain them?
    Thoughts on Tokyo Ghoul? It probably isn't the kind of place a Lee would willingly go to, but I am curious what you think one would do there.

    Also maybe create a thread for story discussion? That way you can threadmark stuff and don't have to answer the same questions because someone (read: myself) is to lazy to look and see if you have already answered somewhere.
    Do you think you'd enjoy writing an Invincible universe story?
    Feels like somewhere a person could do a lot of good with meta knowledge without making things trivial.
