Questionable Questing

I just took one look at the episode title (Pickle Rick) and knew in my heart that the Rick & Morty writers would have the perfect in-universe explanation. And they did.

because they're fucking fantastic.

It's Rick. The logic behind anything he does is much too complex for our primitive minds to comprehend.

I would disagree, but that goes into the absolutely amazing scene at the end with that fucking awesome therapist character. His logic was actually incredibly simple here and laid out clearly by her...

I loved how they turned the old "one up the therapist" cliche on its head too. It was fantastic. Rick tried it and got smacked down hard by the Therapist, but it didn't actually cause either him or Beth to grow as people xD

Like I said, too complex for "our" primitive minds to understand. Therapists on the other hand, are badass. Dr. Wong is the second greatest therapist ever, the first obviously being Jessica Yamada from Worm.

I really really loved how she just... accepted that Rick had turned himself into a Pickle. And when he showed up, she wasn't faking that either, she was still totally unperturbed. So amazing. xD

Though then I remember that the Earth in Rick & Morty has been through an awful lot, so I suppose she's probably seen some things.

Or maybe she's just "so" level-headed, even a talking pickle that's an uber-genius scientist can't shake her.
