    In a build using the optional rule Split Screen do drawbacks like Destiny or The Eye Turns affect the whole group-thus splitting the payout-or just the player who picks it?

    And of course there's no exclusivity- multiple people can take Destiny or The Eye Turns or whatever if they want.
    I could also see an alternate take where everyone has to agree on those drawbacks- or qualify for the challenge in those cases- but they all get the full payout in return.

    Probably depends on whether they've got the mental/physical alteration defense perks. I don't think there'd be anything that necessarily stops them from becoming a Companion, but those would trump the control perks.

    If the specifics matter, I'm thinking of a bastard from the Vale in ASOIAF (i.e. a Stone) using 'Earth-bending.'

    Rules as written it'd want you to use the local magic system, but I think I might change that soon so go ahead and use any system from a world you can go to.

    Quick Questions about your R34 CYOA:
    What are the exact limits for what you'd get if you had a Sick Ride with Military Grade and Size Upgrade in Star Wars? RAW it seems like it'd let you get a Xyston which is a little absurd. Also, does the ship have to be from the same continuity as the one you're in? Like could you have a Legends Nebula-class in Disney canon or a Resurgent-class in Legends canon?

    Would it be reasonable for a fully kited out Ride, with Defense Systems, Armory, Military Grade and Maiddroids to carry its complement of fighters/shuttles and other assorted military gear or would that be something you'd have to acquire in setting?

    Oh, certainly. They wouldn't necessarily benefit from all the perks, but they would probably be included along with stuff like munitions.

    As for the size thing, either is probably fine? If you need to rule that you can take that for the sake of a story, that's fine, and if you need to rule that you can't because it'd ruin a story but there's no other reason not to take it that's also fine.

    Ben 10 could certainly be a fun one, I'd have to look into the others more. Currently the only planned DLC is the roundup, though, which is a big one.

    1: it would theoretically give you the option of applying different sets of influences, but wouldn't upgrade Good Times itself. There's not a limit on how many people you can use it on at once, just on how far each person can be advanced per day.
    2: it wouldn't freeze time innately, you'd have to find or make an effect that does that.

    So, not to dig up some ancient history, but did you by chance ever flesh out that 'Drawbacks Demon Meta-CYOA' from 2018? Cause I found it while digging for a Meta to throw together with Dragonfall and the Adversary drawbacks were absolutely perfect, but I could not for the life of me find any updates or the like.

    I wouldn't say soon, soon. I just moved recently, and between that and the stress of trying to find new insurances and all it'll probably be a little bit before I get back into CYOA stuff.

    1. Is the world you choose to start at the cannon world or can it some variant of it from fan fiction?
    2. For the extended personal perk "The Gamer", the description is vague. Is it referencing one particular instance of "The Gamer" power in media or can it be any version I choose?

    In your CYOA, do Faunal and Floral engine have any sort of limits? Could Faunal engine conjure up high dragons from Dragon Age? What about Godzilla? Could Floral engine reproduce the Two Trees of Valinor (supposedly beyond the powers of the Valar)?

    Generally the main limit of the Engines is that to make exotic materials/entities like those you need to familiarize yourself with what you're trying to make. So probably only if you absorbed one or studied them extensively.
    In the R34 cyoa Economy, can influence options like True Love be something natural and not artificially induced? Like the waifus pulled out wanted to join me on my adventures and be with me and with other girls on their free will?

    This can be like mentally downloading mannerisms and skills or some subtle physical changes to oneself (paid by that penalty/price) that makes one more attractive to that waifu specifically in some ineffable or subtle way you don't have to bother describing if you don't want to, and can be mechanically imagined as a +10 or x2 to attractiveness/romantic feelings and interactions for that waifu specifically.

    Does picking Local Power×8(yeah, I purchased it this many times), Magical Brilliance and Sourcery together stack their bonuses for my talent/power within the local magic system? Or is it redundant with Magical Brilliance?

    Edit: to be clear, the Local Power purchases were for the magic of the setting.

    In reference to the above question about the difference between the two, Local Power is restricted to... Local Powers, and has to be bought twice to let you spread it to later companions. Sourcery can be used to pick up magic systems from other settings if your chosen setting has no such magic in it, and you can teach that magic to anyone.
