Probably lean a bit more on porn logic for her, since yeah, it doesn't make much sense otherwise for the Dragon Aspects to ever get fucked in their humanoid forms. But definitely thinking the Orc Druid becomes a Champion of the Emerald Dream, Blessed by Elune, and more... until eventually, Ysera herself takes him on as a Champion of the Green Dragonflight and what have you.

I'll have to write out the outline before I know for sure, but I think Ysera is an end-game lay for sure. Either Tyrande or Jaina is the first to get in bed with the Orc Druid, with the other following afterwards.

But for Tyrande and Jaine, it's realpolitik even if you remove porn logic--as long as the orc leader, human leader, and night elf leader are one family, then there's peace on the continent between the "reasonable" polities

But honestly, you could reverse Taretha on Jaina. Like, have her do some experiments as a kid as part of Antonidas' studies on the lethargy of the orcs, and have her befriend him in secret and always sort of think of him--so that when she's with Arthas, it's just a political marriage, not out of actual love

, which makes her leaving him at Stratholme more reasonable--she wants to pursue her true love instead of following this dude who she sees as a lunatic. Or whatever the case, it's not an instant thing, and it came about because they were friends first, and then she realizes that she doesn't care about what his skin color looks like... oh, this, uh, porn genre is kind of broad...

I like the idea of Jaina and the Orc SI having prior history together. I definitely want to start the story off with the orcs' arrival on Kalimdor, but I was considering whether to have the Orc Druid inserted there, or inserted earlier and have lived a whole life on EK with Thrall as his foil so to speak. I like the idea of the latter option more and more.

You could just do what all writers do when they wanna add stuff; flashbacks. She was interested in him while he was a kid in the internment camps being one of the few who weren't lethargic, and it's because he awakened druidic powers back then, and then she got curious about him, and they started chatting about magic and the beauty of this world, and they became besties, she didn't know it then but she was in love--

--it was a Romeo and Juliet situation where the other orcs didn't like her, and she knew she couldn't be with him because everyone around her saw orcs as beasts, but she saw him as smarter than anyone her age. Their magics are different, but that just makes him more mysterious.

Eventually, she was forced onto other projects, but she came back to visit; but while helping with undead, she heard orcs broke free and sailed west. Not long afterwards, a mysterious prophet told her to go west too if she wants to save this world, and now she feels she could throw off society's shackles and be with her true love... but would he even want her, after all that her people has done to him?

I don't usually like flashbacks, but admittedly it would feel rather unearned if I didn't have at least a couple of flashback scenes showing how they met and their interactions in Kalimdor just started with "Jaina was so happy she could finally be with her orc lover who she'd loved since they met in EK and so they banged" lmao.

Arthas who? At best, she admired the prince for his care for his people, a love that she felt she couldn't replicate. She's been struggling with the balance between the big picture (and her duties) and her personal desires since birth, and now, she's finally had a chance when both are one thing.

To be honest, in the industry, flashbacks are usually referred to as a hack's tool, but sometimes it's needed, unless you want to sacrifice audience engagement by showing the whole story (because if you show the key parts at the start and then skip, you'll have King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, which is just a bunch of incoherent cuts

, and you want to sacrifice the pacing. "Pacing" is an ephemeral thing, but here, it's a sense of tension (sexual or not) that you're building up in your "came for the porn, stayed for the plot" scenario, right? So you'll have to earn it with a "so like, here's what he did before this, and you know, his actions caused some butterflies"

Yeah I just know I don't want to spend any time really on EK, but its either do a few EK prologue chapters, or fit in flashbacks later in the story. Will have to think about it
