Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
If you wish to change your username, please ask via conversation to tehelgee instead of asking via my profile. I'd like to not clutter it up with such requests.
Also, if you think about it in terms of "tribulations", Inuyasha seems to be a record of the process of "the end of dharma", where youkai and magical stuff die in mass, leaving only mundane humans hundreds of years later
But this seems to make sense if we incorporate some Touhou elements; the "Youkai Tribulation" would last for a thousand years, to the modern era, where there are no new daiyoukai, regular youkai are myth, strange monsters are only born from new urban legend, and the only powers are those that survived a thousand years
The "Youkai Tribulation" would represent "the world's hostility to youkai" and "the world's rejection of the supernatural", and it would either end with youkai taking over the world and conquering everything or with them being erased from history and memory, relegated to myth
At the same time, "tribulations" could be a description for the times when RPG elements overwrite the world; why "heroes" grow so fast compared to "regular times", going from fighting large rats to killing gods. These "tribulation protagonists" would grow fast, but they include not just Inuyasha and Kagome, but also Naraku
Well, not actual RPG elements, but you know, when evil becomes eviler and "main characters" gain "plot benefits", where they grow faster, are luckier, and often can't be killed unless by other "main characters".
Therefore, it's possible that "tribulations" are an element of the setting, and thus can be back traced to previous tribulations, such as the Mao-You Tribulation, or the Dragon-Phoenix-Qilin Tribulation, or the Dao-Devil Tribulation... or in this setting, the Titanomachy Tribulation, the Three Biblical Factions Tribulation..
... it would mean that "the world" is bigger than just its individual parts, even Great Red or Yahweh, or anyone else, because they are all part of "the world" and thus affected by "tribulation" in the same way, so unless they can transcend "the world", they'll always be part of each "tribulation"
