Questionable Questing

I could never find myself to like the tieflings. Yes, they were refugees under stress and driven from their homes over and over again, but they acted like they were entitled to help all the time, and never as if they actually suffered or were on the weak-end of a bargain or the side being leveraged. You know, they felt so... "first world problem"?

I mean, you really shouldn't be able to do that though lol. It's a game based on D&D, which is itself a game that was never designed to be played as a solo adventure.

This isn't like a Bethesda game where companions are optional (And let me tell you, I usually do play solo in games like Skyrim and Fallout). This is a game built around the concept of having party members.

But the story plays them off as what's basically third-world war refugees kind of thing, right? But actual people in that situation wouldn't start demanding you help, as if it was owed to them, you know? Like the parents of the kid who got bit by the snake in the druid place, or the woman looking for the mute boy during the goblin siege, or the leader girl of the tiefling thieves

I understand that, and I think a lone wolf should also have "support members", who make their weapons or feed them or heal them or whatever, but I guess I just sometimes don't want to have a full party because they tend to try to peer pressure me into not being utterly selfish.

I guess I just find both the goblin camp and the tiefling camp disgusting and detestable. The goblin side is obvious so I don't really talk about it, but I just wish I could ignore both of them and do my own thing and let them killed each other for all I care...

Well that's why you get better party members lol. There are some party members you're going to avoid or lose in an evil run and that's okay. There are others to take their place. Like Minthara right?

You know, to actually role play how I'd handle that situation myself, instead of trying to be the exaggerated extreme of someone? IDK lmao

I guess the game is made that way, and DND tabletop campaigns usually need you to ham it up to play with friends. I'm not against that. I guess idk what I'm saying lol

lol its totally fair to be annoyed if you can't do something a certain way. Though did you try to kill both the goblins and the druid grove? I wonder if you slaughtered the druids first, could you then kill the gobbos? Hmmm

I see Minthara the same way I look at Laezel, they're just... "good lays", you know? Play with their feelings, use them for what they're worth, and then toss them aside, but Minthara might be a better lay and Laezel is more useful. It's not like Minthara doesn't come back later...

... I still laugh at the little goblins dressed up as if they were important and not about to be slaughtered lmao
