I saw this one story where they just got picked up by Roger like five years before the execution, and that part was nice, but then the author wanted "to do his own thing" so he filled the story with "original characters" and "original kingdoms/settings/whatever", and it was awful. Holy shit, it was awful. Pointless filler everywhere, and no Boa Hancock in sight.

I feel like the translation for Kamusari shouldn't be Godly Avoidance or whatever, since like, you know, coming from Kojiki and referring to Izanami, it should be translated like "Gods Die" or something, which kind of fits the One Piece setting way better, you know, like saying even or all gods must die, and pointing it at the world nobles or whatever
