Questionable Questing

Even I'm doing it. I jumped right into a fresh playthrough of Cyberpunk right after finishing Starfield and by god its like night and day. Cyberpunk really exposes how OLD Starfield feels compared to a proper modern RPG, tbh.

For me, its the sense of progression in particular that feels so different. Starfield is way too sparse in both levels and skill points. Cyberpunk drives this home by not only giving you attribute and perk points every level up, but also giving you skill level ups at the same time.

It just feels good how your power level progresses in Cyberpunk compared to Starfield.

In Starfield, you have to reach at least level 100 to have enough skill points to be able to specialize in more than one thing. In Cyberpunk, the level cap is only 60 but by 60 you can be maxed out and specialized in three out of the five attributes with a 10/20 in the other two. Seriously night and day.

Well, like I said, if Starfield came out in 2010, it'd be GOTY!
