A way to earn audience interest is to attack porn tropes. Set up a situation that would be mean, a dehumanized mother betraying her children and a friend fucking over his buddy by fucking his mom, and break those tropes. Split them open and show something better.

I definitely did plan on Tsunade being more active in pursing more relationships, while Naruto is happy with the two of them and more reluctant to commit to anyone else. A nice little subversion of your typical harem Naruto fic where he's the only one chasing tail.

Naruto and Sakura and Saskue is nothing as simple as Sakura is in love only with Saskue or she doesn't love Naruto as a dear friend, or how Saskue's words on killing Sakura are doubtful. There is a lot of drama to milk on the fucked up tragedy of Shipuden's plot of trying to save their idiot friend. And Tsundade want to set up a proper clan?
