I've seen other stuff in fiction that makes hellhonunds cool. Gives them hellfire powers or other stuff. Makes them dangerous and stand out. In canon, Hellhounds for Hazbin are furries? I'm not getting the demonic bit here. What makes hellhounds stand out? Is Luna a shadowhellhound?

God- the father, Jesus- the son, Holy Spirit- the will.

Lucifer is the side of the devil that wants redemption, love, and freedom. Satan is the anger and hurt he carries against god, and Beelzebulb is the connection he has with humans in inspiring their disobedience against god.

I'm thinking three separate yet the same entities. One body, but unlike Lilith there isn't any conflict over who's in charge. They all basically want the same things, they just disagree over how exactly to reach it.

And satan is the most possessive. Beelzebub is in a strange place in that as much as he loves Charlie, he would be totally okay if Charlie decided to rebel against him and go to heaven. He's the side that wants the best for her, regardless of his own wants.

I like what you are saying for Satan as your not going for dumb hulk brute. A way to further his characterization as the side that warred with Heaven is Vaggie is a Fallen Angel. She's been diminshed, her old body and power broken. Satan trains her, remakes her into a demon knight sworn to Charlie. Satan is showing her how to embrace the fires of hell

The thing about Beelzebub for greater depth would be freedom doesn't isolate from consequences and the freedom of others to react to choices.
I imagine if a child raping serial killer tried to say he was using his freedom to do so, Beel would say the people around him are using their freedom to lynch him

Satan as the side that warred with Heaven and tore through his family. I highly encourage playing up the tragedy of Heaven being a giant loving househould split in twain and Lucifer all three of him still having trouble over that while his siblings don't know that there are three of him now

Going by this, it was a mix of Beel and Satan for a long, long time, with maybe brief moments of Lucifer in private with his wife and most trusted brothers and sisters, until Charlie.
Charlie brought Lucifer back. Instead of Beel's chaos or Satan's Heaven will burn hate he still has blazing inside

Hellhounds, got to make them cool. I think for blending smut and serious, having them as a demon soldier and sex slave race works as a starting origin

If their meant to be fodder for demon's armies, it would be cool to explore the idea that the have instinct's that cause them to be stupidly loyal to one person or group, and that once they've bond themselves they almost literately can't escape from it.

I'd have different breeds like say a shadow breed for Luna having different powers. And even as fodder, Hellhounds should be strong. Something to be respected. Their the foot soldiers of Hell against heaven or other overlords, the can't be average

If their that loyal and strong, instead of regular canon fodder, they should be fear, respected. they should be more like an honor guard, something all the most wealthy and powerful can afford, instead of slaves.
