Definitely don't want Lucifer to be too over powered. If the plot with old demon lords is to have any suspense they need a chance to kill him and charlie.

As for powers. I'm thinking Satan is the strongest in fire power and combat ability, but is weak on diplomacy. Lucifer is the most charismatic and well liked, but isn't as strong physically as the other two. While Beelzebub has strength and charisma, but nobody trusts him.

Make it a bit of a rock paper scissor match, in that they each have counters between the three, to match how each of them have a different approach.

Beelzebub favors human clothes. He likes fine suit just as much as he likes something a hobo would wear. He wants to blend in with the humans he loves so much. He tried very hard not to look special or different at all.

Satan is usually naked. he likes to be in a monstrous form, covered in hellfire. A giant wolf, snake, or spider to inspire terror. And if he does wear anything its always brutally efficient. Armour, weapons, even during diplomatic meets it still retains functionality.

You could have the big thing with Lucifer is he is one of the strongest but not invincible. What he has others don't is his prior glory when split into three gives him a trio of exceptional powers and skills. Where as everyone else only has one loadout

As for the three Devils, in story you can have the religious lore say it but act like it is metaphorical. Until Lucifer needs to switch or Satan or Beel take over to resolve something

Lucifer's big thing is that he still carries with him the part of himself that is connected to heaven. So not only is he the most musically inclined of the three, but Lucifer still has some dominion over heaven itself, not just hell. It ties into what he wears. Lucifer always wears white. Whether it be suits or armor. While red is for Satan and black is for Beelzebub.

Remove the liar revealed plot. Charlie knows Vaggie is a exterminator angel. Veggie however is losing her heavenly prowess and powers. Growing weaker. Use her to tell what happens when a Angel falls

Indirectly describe the tale of how Lucifer became Satan. Vaggie's Fall is still occurring, Hell transforming her and absorbing her as another demon. Something for Satan to sympathize with

That makes more sense to me anyway. I mean Charlie is naive, but is she really so naive not to notice somethings off about Vaggie? Or at least wouldn't Lucifer do some investigating?

All three are royal colors. I'd have the light of Lucifer be flickering, faded, beautifully sad. He is a shadow of the dawn.

Vaggie's horror and growth as she turns into a Demon is a way to narrate what all Fallen go through. To be Charlie's armor and spear, she needs to embrace the hellfire

Satan and Lucifer have a love hate relationship. Satan might be overwhelmingly angry and self destructive, but at the same time he is completely honest about his feelings. Satan feels no shame in openly telling Charlie how much he loves her and how much destruction he would bring to anyone or anything that tried to hurt her.
