Questionable Questing

With the main characters I have a bunch of predetermined paths the readers can choice from subtly based on a few different decisions, But with the side characters one of the first things I'll do is gauge the interest level from the readers, before I start spending a lot of time and effort into them.

That could be a lot of fun too. and some of my idea's could still work. Dad losing his job from economic turmoils, getting hurt, maybe he's from the invading armies country originally, or the families one of many refugees. Lots of opportunity for drama and lots of ways to make the incest more fun.
