I'm not sure if the demon mommy would care, sense she's not connected with them. Mmmh, maybe make it a character arc where over time the demom grows to care about them because garaa does. Show that the demons are affected by their hosts instead of it always being the other way around.

Massive question I have. What are the religious and or political reasons Samurai let Ninja traffic and control Tailed Beasts?

I'm debating with Samurai if its an honor thing or a practicality. What I'm thinking is that their technique with reinforcing their armor with their chakra only works when using their own chakra, so throwing a bunch of demon chakra on top of it would throw it out of wack and make it useless.

The next idea I have is they use some sort of holy chakra that's poison to the demon's so that's another thing that makes it worthless to them.

More the problem in my mind of why do Ninjas have nukes. I hate Chakra lasers and all tailed beasts should have proper elemental Chakras but they are still horrifically massively destructive.

I was thinking it could be mythological. The beasts are part of the Sage's legacy who is the God father of all ninja

He's still considered the origin of chakra and basically Jesus. Even if technically it was because of his mom, but nobody knows that part. But his mythology is less creator of the world and he's emphasized more as a teacher and spiritual guide. So less Jesus actually and more Muhammed or Joseph Smith.

So where do samurai come in and are Sages separate from Ninjas in this AU? As Chakra spiritualists feels very off from Shinobi

I'm still figuring out how religion should work, but what I'm thinking is that either I should have a monk class that's explicitly more spiritual, or if Samurai should just take over that role and have a more spiritual connection with their skills. maybe being able to commune with their dead?

Because what I'm thinking is that Chakra you need the combination of someone who's very focused and very physically active for them to learn it, and the three groups of people who fit that in ancient Japan are monks, samurai, and ninja's. I would say farmers could learn it too, but their not physically healthy enough.

Because what I'm thinking with sages is that they learned the concentrating and meditation from monks, to correctly feel and filter natural energy, and then they combined it with their own Ninja training and skills to become a sage.

With Monk's since their big thing is meditation and self understanding, I'm thinking their big power is either something with natural chakra, or maybe the ability to change and control their own body.
