Whitely really wasn't given enough time to develop. I do like though that he had some anger at Weiss and Winter for leaving him. It's understandable and tragic from both sides, and one of the better season from the later seasons.

Really though, I just want him to have a bigger impact on the story. have him be a weird mix between alley and rival with Weiss as she tries to solve her complicated feelings about her family as he slowly takes over the company and out of her control forever. Something which was originally her dream to reform it, only for her to realize she's much happier being a huntress.
