While if its the people around him, then the story will focus much more on character relations and slowly unraveling the innocent nature of everyone in the MC's life to reveal their true slutty nature.

In the game proper it's a mix of phone causing consequences and Jenna. If I do it it would be be a vampire Dark Soul femboy ally of the Red demon MC of the urban fantasy thing

Well what do you want to focus on? The people's bodies morphing into unrecognizable bimbo forms and the slow desecration of their past selves as they discover who they really want to be? Or do you want the corruption to be about discovering who they really where all along? I guess is the corruption about changing them? Or showing them who they really are?

Yep, harems shouldn't be an excuse for more sex but more drama. More characters fighting, fucking, scheming, lying, playing, laughing, that's what makes a story good. They shouldn't be lifeless dolls for the mc to collect.

Well a lot of mind control stories focus on people who are powerless or weak, and their desire for a harem seems more like a desire for control in their life.

Now the question is how to reinforce that mind control in a way that develops the character

Could go the route where the mc starts out as an irrspoiiable kid wanting respect, control, and sex from the harem, but slowly growing to love and care for each of them and slowly wanting the best for them. Slowly starting to sacrifice his own wants to fulfill their's, ending with him realizing if he truly loves them he needs to stop controlling them.

That's the idea. The mc tossing up a little bit, only for his girls to say they like being control. basically go from a unhealthy need for control too a healthy Dom/sub relationship.
