Kachan is always going to be a bit of a brat and a punk, but the idea is that he learns how toil and destructive his version of heroism is. My idea is that he's a lot like Shadow Stalker from worm in that to be a hero you have to be the biggest strongest meanest fucker out there, and then he runs into Robin and seeing her in full work mode is the start of his character arc that maybe there's more to being a hero.

And for grape? And I like this, showing the weakness in Kachan's heroism as forgetting the point of being a hero. Strength isn't a hero. The use of it with purpose is

And after that Kachan will either want to be as strong as Robin forgoing heroism entirely and embracing villainy, try for a redemption arc with the focus on moving away from his previous views, or the third option where he embraces being the meanest scariest person so people like Deku can be the true heroes.

There's a irony to him being inspired by the cold blooded assassin and even more irony with his mom having a gangester past and having had been the one who corrupted his dad from shy guy to menace and it has been passed onto their son

Basically Kachan will do the dirty work in scaring and killing certain villains that can't be reasoned with, while Deku can be the one kids look up to and aspire to be.

look I'm a firm believer that hero's shouldn't kill and that batman has no moral obligation to kill the joker when there's an entire government and court system that should be the ones to do it, but at the same time some asshole's just don't learn and while I don't think superman should ever be popping heads off, its not a bad idea either to have a superhero willing to get his hands dirty from time to time.
