My idea was like you said, Nolan doesn't want to see his favorite pet die. lol. So he gives her enhancements and bioengineering to make her stornger and live longer and at first Debbie will resit it, but as the realization of just how long Nolan and more importantly her son will live for she dives head first into it and that'll play a role in her corruption.

Back to main story. Omi man has become a central pillar of the League and likes it. Mark is raised in a fusion of Viltrumite beliefs but also the idea he has to protect the earth and both admires Superman but is as a Viltrumite naturally obscenely violent and crass sexually.

And I think if Viltrum wasn't pro incest, they would be now since their on the bring of extinction. Which is actually another intresting point, how much of Viltrum blood is needed to have powers? I know full blood ones are the strongest and I know humans are special for plot reasons.

But it stands to reason that viltrum has been scouring the galaxy looking for different alien species to try and rebirth the viltrum race and in the process maybe not find the magical cure that humans are but have found some aliens that could give them some decently powerful half viltrums.

What you think of Mr immortal being more about talents and arts than super man knock off and for Viltrumites being different than Kryptionians, perhaps a focus on how fucking hard to kill they are and their stamina and endurance

Would be intresting if the viltrum species evolved to have the pure blooded Viltrum on top as the immortal leaders and strongest warriors, with an army of half viltrums below them with nowhere near the strength or longevity constantly fighting and warring with each other and other planets, hoping to prove themselves to their parents and become adopted as a full blooded Viltrum.

With Mark I can see a immigrant generation 2 story. He grows up on stories of Viltrum mythology and history and traditions but also he likes his hometown, enjoys dominating the shit out of his femboy friend, and is American. A weird blend of two worlds

That half viltrum idea would make more sense for how viltrum is able to maintain a galactic empire with only a couple dozen full blooded viltrum left.

But yeah my original idea with the relationship between Viltrum and Krypton was that Krypton had a period of time where they were conqueres and they colonized a section of the galaxy, but then they pulled back because Krypton which had different castes of people had a civil war in which the military caste which was formally in change was replace by the science caste.

And they pulled away from the conquering and centralized everything on their home planet. But one of those former colonies which was filled with former veterans and military caste member's broke free and fromed their own nation, Viltrum.
