  • There's this theory that if a male isekai MC appeared in front of Bell in Danmachi before that one sword girl at the start of the series, he'd imprint on the male isekai MC and the series will turn to yaoi

I'm so tired of diaosi protagonists aaaaa

they are, like, you know, reader/writer avatars, but losers, like, no skills, no charm, no culture, no morals, no money, none

and they become rampant and show their true face the moment their cheat--they always need a cheat because the no no no--makes them stronk, super assholes

but cuz many readers are like this, so
For some reason, Burger King in China doesn't sell regular fries, just these nasty ass, ashy-textured wavy fries that never come as if they were just fried, but always as if they've been left there for a few days under the oven
Sign a contract with me and become a magical girl

and then become an unemployed loser ten years down the line
In a lot of games, when you do a character's 'personal quest', at the final stage, usually something to resolve their past, get revenge, achieve a life goal, etc.... you gain their complete love/devotion/etc., but I feel like if you were to write it out, you'd get more from them if you go almost every step, but dangle the completion in front of them without completing it

Like if there's someone who ruined a companion's life, and the personal quest chain is getting revenge step by step on each person until the final bad, and you take every step to make sure your companion can get that revenge... but then you blue ball them

wouldn't that make them more desperate to love you?

I feel like doing their questlines is the reason they let you be there with them when they get that revenge, otherwise they wouldn't trust you in that "final confrontation"

Some crossovers don't make any sense. Like, why is Takarada Rikka in Azur Lane? I don't actually know either the character or the series, was just using it as a model for character design shape, but these mobile game crossovers are stretching it so much wow
But yeah, the "you love him, but he betrays you and falls in love with her, but you die/leave/find someone else/etc., he realizes he actually loves you" bit might be repetitive and trashy, but I totally dig it

But how much of that is a Romantic FOMO situation? The only thing that changed his mind was "I can't rebound back to her anymore and my options are more limited now"

I saw this one video on bilibili and it was comparing what people are into and online novels, well, mainly comparing the difference between female audience and male audience and the first thing was like

Boys like strong female characters, weak female characters, non-human characters... Girls like nerdy hot guys, tough hot guys, smart hot guys, pushy hot guys, nonhuman hot guys...

yeah, I figured anything with a UI-looking thing in the middle of it was an ad/self-promotion/"Like and subscribe!", and yeaaaaaahhhhhhh the biggest one that got me was the "Gets run over, goes back in time and the other woman gets run over" one, I immediately thought it was going to have them Return too and thought "RECURSION RECURSION RECURSIO-"

The actual words for that skit was she loves him but he loves her so she dies and then he regrets and loves her now and then the second girl gets run over and you get resurrected so you're together with him now

There is one that comes after which is your parents are forcing you to go on blind dates so you grabbed the nearest guy and marry him but he turns out to be the heir of a multi billion fortune and he had been secretly in love with you for some unknown reason for a long time

during high school, you might *be* the drama, but when you're out of school life gets slower, and there's no risk of the drama "involving you"
