I haven't figured out what exaclty todo with david at this point to be honest. The focus really started on Gloria and sort of expanded from there. I'm going to sleep on it, give it a couple days for the idea's to get in.

Here's a thought. The boy and his family are Charlie's experiment to test out her new form of Dammination compared to the old one and from there she grows into wanting influence over earth to steal it from heaven.

Funny enough wasn't that the original motivations of Lucifer in Paradise lost. God took heaven away from them, so they would take earth away from heaven and make it their own?

Basically setting the stage and getting the inside the character's heads.

But I need an inciting insident. i need some kind of violence or action, or political intrigue. Lucifer will be thinking about his role as king and considering getting out of retirement for his daughter, but I need it to be more than just a depressed guy drinking in his office. you know?

The sex with charlie is going to be awhile and I need something now to keep the audiance invested while I'm setting the family drama up and its really hard with a character as over powered as Lucifer.

And well, there is the idea of the Extermination hits Charlie's hotel and she tries to defend the Sinners and is injured in a Jesus like act of self sacrifice. Causing Lucifer to snap into Satan mode

Maybe. I don't know if it works as a start though. I want to save that for a little bit later, since that's the moment when Lucifer and lilith's argument reach it zeinith as their two ruling styles clash. lucifer wanting war, revenge, and blood. While lilith arguing for the sneaky way, taking their pound of flesh by playing the long game and being diplomatic.
