And in the proccess of killing Valentio, Lucifer accidentally gives the whole prostitution ring over to Charlie, by forcing Valentio's subordinates to swear themselves to her in order for them to not suffer the same fate of their boss.

So that like you said Charlie can get a taste of power and how to use. I think inner Charlie would actually be based on her mom since for Charlie her mom is the strongest person she knows and her image of royalty, she loves her dad but he's too much of a jokester to take his crown too seriously, but it also ties in with how on some level charlie knows her parents are evil and how hard it is for her to reconcile the loving mommy and daddy with the cruel tyrants they can be.
