Well funny enough my original, original idea. The one that inspired the whole thing I had like two years ago, was the idea of an oc or self insert older Brother to Vicky slowly falling in love with his family.

And the idea was that his power where these special coins that he gain each day that he could spend on someone and by spending them on someone they would get a minor power boost and would get a little boost in how they viewed him.

It would start small like one coin would give the same dopamine hit as a beer, but like any alcoholic one or two beers don't hurt, but if your drinking it every day then you get a problem.

This sounds like you can use the Whitely's semblance idea here.

And the trigger for this kind of power would be the Brother seeing how depressed his dad was, how lonely Amy was, and how desperate for control his mom was and wishing he could fix that and in true worm fashion his powers could fix it but at the cost of mastering them.

And our MC when he discovered how dangerous his powers where would try to refuse using them for a period of time which is what casued his dad's depression to relapse and for him to kill himself, and now blaming himself for the tragedy our MC is now constantly feeding all these coin back into his family and trying to do anything he can to make them happy.

With the only problem being, he keeps getting more coins and he's getting these urges to spend more and more that he's desperately trying to control. With his power wanting him to master more and more people. The story was originally going to start with the family already mastered.

And Lisa under orders from Coil playing mind games with the MC trying to take advantage of his guilt and shame to help her in the process falling in love and eventually asking to be mastered by him. Since Lisa would rather be mind controlled and happy then let her powers ruin one of the only relationships she's ever cared about.

Yep, I think the Whitely slave collar semblance is perfect for this

Its where I got the inspiration for Whitely's semblance from.

I like Whitely better as the 2.0 version.

Yeah, I think the act of collering works better since rather than the coin it's a physical act and has more limitations, rather than just inserting points like its a game.

And you can have the collar grow and expand into outfits and thorned barbs ensnared in their skin

But other than the powers, what do you think of the original concept?

Needs a personality and I like the idea of the tragedy of his dad killing himself and him feeling bad about it. I like this, I like it a lot and would pair it with the Amy idea. Using the Collar semblance

My idea for his personality is either the perfect boy scout. Optimistic, brave, outspoken, and kind, since the Dallons are usually compared to Superman or the Fantatsic Four with the idea being the bright face on the surface hding some really dark desires and wants underneath.

Or his other personaility was, since he doesn't have flashy powers instead of being this bad ass hero he was content being someone on the sidelines helping the heroes. He's a helper for a lack of better word, here to listen with a happy smile as he cleans their bruises, gives advice and love, and is just a never ending source of comfort for them.

But at night, he's demanding his sluts line up in a row so he could choke and fuck and let out all the repressed anger and hate he has. The responible older brother protecting his sibling on the surgface versus the controlling monster underneath.

PR image vs the self he lets out with harem.

The big difference between the two is the first one is proactive about facing bad guys and wants to interfere, while the other one is happy to turtle up and not get involved with anything outside of his harem. The second one needs Lisa as the inciting incident while the first one his heroing is what get him on Coil and by extensions Lisa's radar.
