Questionable Questing

Still not feeling good to be honest, but I am better than yesterday, so tomorrow It'll be back to the grindstone. Since its been less than ninety days since I've been hired I don't have any sick time and while I'm willing to lose a couple days of pay if I'm sick enough. I'm not willing to lose a whole week. But how has your day been?

Not bad. Talked to Jackal. We are sticking to Frozen Dreams because of how much fun it is and how much good work went in it. Can you read our latest update or you too sick still? And shift was fine at work

I'm going try to read it tomorrow. Its kind of embarrassing but while I'm not super light headed anymore, I've been practically glued to the toilet all day. I'll say it again, but being sick fucking sucks.

But enough about my bowel movements. lol. its nice to hear your sticking with Frozen Dreams, while I would love to see your take on worm and especially the whole bunker and building a society thing, I'm glad your sticking with your guns instead of abandoning it to chase trends.

That's a path that'll just make writing a chore for you and you don't want that, especially since this is fan-fiction and were not getting paid for it. lol.

It could be and will be one day turned into a completely original setting. We have done a shit ton of AUing

That's one of the fun parts of writing all those idea's and concepts never go away and can easily be recycled and changed into something new when you need it.

Royal Hotel, what would our first arc be?

It would be an introduction to the politics's and world building of the setting, using the excuse of Lucifer slowly starting to come out of his depression to show an outsiders point of view of everything going on, along with the view point of the immigrant family to contrast the world of the powerful and the powerless.

The first so called enemies would be weak and kind of forgettable as Lucifer goes around like a bull in a china shop trying to prove himself and regain control, unknowingly creating a lot worse enemies in the back ground and starting the conflict between him and his wife. With the occasional hint of Lilith and Eve's so called relationship in the background as she gets more and more stressed.

For the immigrant family it would be an intro to who they are and their arc's, along with the son meeting the overlord and starting to work for her. Meanwhile Charlie's arc would be her realizing just how over her head she is with the hotel as her natural optimism and sheltered upbringing run face first into the seedier side of hell as she takes over Valentino's porn industry.

What's interesting here is it sounds like Lucifer isn't permanently destroying people or trying to be insulting. He's too apathetic to care about the consequences.

So many light compassionate moments with Charlie trying to help the porn workers. Her becoming a cinematic full feature length high quality story porn artist is a fun idea

In my mind Lucifer's like one of those super star athletes who still think their hot shit, when their forty, have bad knee's, and a couple divorces. lol. Basically he hasn't been an active king in so long that there are parts of hell that think he's legend that died a long time ago.

And after all this time to come out of his retirement start throwing his weight around, bossing people around, and expecting them to follow his commands without question. It like you said, really shows how out of touch he is, and the scary thing he is genuinely strong enough to get away with it.

So a big part of his arc is learning how to be a proper king and having people follow him for loyalty and not power, and his big reality check is firstly seeing how many enemies he makes and how close they get to destroying him and the second one is seeing how hard his wife has worked to keep things afloat while he played with ducks and drank all day.

What I'm hearing is his enemies plot his demise in a Red Wedding where he's vulnerable and his family is there to be slaughtered. Except Lilith is a powerful sorceress and Satan wakes up

His enemies made by his mistakes would have been his downfall but now the Angel Breaker is active instead of Lucifer at the moment of their plot

That's the idea or maybe a plot of some kind with Adam, but we'll see. Right now its just vague idea's for the future.

What is going to be the scariest change is if to help secure his Throne he let's Beelzabub take the wheel
