I'm thinking its less that they feel the need to specifically control their bodies or minds and more that they just naturally feel the need to control everything around them.

You combine that with the fact Viltrum has spent the last couple hundred years aggressively focused on genetic engineer first to become stronger and now to find a cure and save their population means that they have access to stupid amounts of biomodding for their slaves. Like for them tattooing you family crest on your slave is a required law to identify your property.

Rewiring a slaves mind and literally rebuilding their bodies from the ground up, removing any genetic flaws, improving any organs, and speeding up how fast they can have children is the standard procedure before any Viltrum starts having kids with their slaves because again their desperately trying to find a cure and save their species.

How so control everything around them and it's interesting. Omiman learns humanity while Mark is a primal raw viltrumite libedo.

And I had a thought. Pre Argal Viltrum is bad but it had positives. The rise of the fascist Viltrum caused a obsession with rave purity greatly discouraging Pets.



This has been a terrible idea as Pets actually ran a lot of the government and were the emotional support of the society for many families

What I was thinking with Pre Argal Viltrum is that like Krpton you had various powerful clans and families, with the most powerful and influential members making up a council that ran things. But over time a monarchy was established with the clan system carrying on for awhile afterwards, weakening over time, until Thragg eventually destroyed it.

Which was a big deal since before these clans had room for favored Pets and Slaves to have a significant amount of political power and even allowed half Viltrum who only inherited a little of their parents strength a way to become fully adopted in. Again it meant that Viltrum still had a functional army and government even when their population dwindled to dozens.

With the Clan system gone, Viltrum itself is starting to lose several of its planets and has been dramatically weakened. Since it now means no non viltrum has any say in the empire, not only really increasing the instability and Resistance, but also depriving Viltrum of its army. And while a Viltrum can solo a planet they can't be everywhere and without boots on the ground their loosing control.

And Freddie mercury is the era distilling the worst of Viltrum.

Now how does Mark start trying to control Debbie and Eve? Debbie saying Mark can talk about his peior relationship issues turning into Mark just being flirty and asking for saucy texts and updates?

In DC there are gods and mages and other alien warriors who can fight Viltrum

I was thinking the green lanterns had a series of very bloody wars against Viltrum. Which makes Nolan's mission all the more critical. Because of the surface the Viltrum have learned their lesson and have sent out their strongest warriors to act as protectors and guardians instead of conquerors and rebuild their reputation, with Nolan in particular directly working with several Lantarns. His former enemies.

Of course we both know its a deep spy mission, and even for the Lanterns and a lot of other people their still pretty suspicious of Viltrum, but considering how bloody the war was and that they had to resort to biological warfare to win I'm guessing the lanterns needed the peace just as much as Viltrum did so for now is willing to let sleeping dogs lie.

Especially since they have their own spies in Viltrum watching.

Darkseid kneels to no one! Lol. But no really he might work with them on occasion if they have a common enemy, but Darkseid is the god of Narcissism and Thragg is Thragg, you tell me if they can work together.

Oh another interesting thing about the Viltrum and Lantern wars is that it happened hundreds of years ago and is why the Green Laterns on Earth didn't care or suspect Nolan at all. To them it's ancient history like reading about the Mongels.

How does Debbie and Eve's spiral with Mark develop?

We'll the DC universe is a lot bigger and there have been plenty of would be conquers and genocidal aliens to have passed through. The Viltrum would've been a very big deal and would do a lot of damage, but unlike invincible their would be plenty of groups that could oppose them on equal footing. So not nearly as feared or hated.
